What’s the difference?

Name or phone number search?
Name will typically get you address. But not a phone number search. And you have to pay for the phone number if you did address search.

Whitepages still wants me to pay for that names/addresses.

You probably could. But what’s the target demographic for this?
How many songs does a typical game have? You could just look up the soundtrack and play from the 12 different songs until you find the right one.

“Could be worse” assuming it can be worse (and it probably can)

Right: phone 1, phone 2, AirPods
Left: wallet, knife, car key.

Based on OPs edit that sounds exactly like what it’s doing.

Get yourself some rechargeables. Yeah they don’t last as long per charge. But I’ve got a stockpile and I keep rotating them out so I’ve always got a fresh pair ready to go.

What car is it? I doubt it really requires premium fuel. It’ll probably run better on premium. But I doubt any non enthusiast naturally aspirated car would 100% require premium.

I just fix problems.
Processing data broken? I’ll fix it.
VPN broken? I’m on it.
New server needs installed? Yeah I’ll do that. (I love hosting Minecraft on a server that costs more than my car)
Old server needs removed? Cool free stuff.
It’s always something different, and I get to explore new things and possibly get free stuff.

AI isn’t altering databases or knowledge. AI is telling the writer there’s a better way to do this, and the writer has to explicitly change their wording.
You only know to look at a dictionary for alternative wordings if you know there’s a problem. How do you know there’s a problem?
If you ask someone else what if that same someone else uses your regional dialect and not the one that has problems? Your average writer can review every single word used in the dictionary for every single article they edit. But AI can, and that’s something it’s actually good at. You may only know 5 Spanish speakers, but AI knows everything it was trained on.

Why should we use (insert tool) when we did just fine before?
Because when used correctly it can be great for helping you be more productive, and find errors/make improvements. The two exceptions are for grammar which AI does a surprisingly good job with. Would you have gotten mad if they used Grammarly >5 years ago? Having it rewrite an entire article is gonna be a bad idea, but asking it to rephrase a sentence, or check your phrasing for potential issues is a much safer thing. Not everyone who speaks Spanish uses it the same way. Some words are innocuous in some regions, but offensive in others.

Aim them yourself. You’ll spent more time finding a good spot to aim them then actually doing it.
If they’re LEDs or HIDs they’re probably just a screw you turn to aim them. If they dont then it’s basically the same thing, but in a less convenient spot. Look up the proper aiming procedure for your car, or just wing it by finding a car in a parking lot.

Or just burned too quickly on poor quality media. It seems like as dvd drives got better the media got worse. But 15 years ago they stopped getting better, and the media kept getting worse.

If they’re already into your phone there’s so many legitimate ways to extract your data. The ability to sideload an app won’t impact that.

What makes them background? I still had to reboot my phone to complete the install.

CXMT (or whoever is sticking the memory onto PCBs) already have increased the prices.
Just like AMD, there’s no reason to actually compete on price when you can offer close enough for 10% less.

A new Camera Remote feature allows users to press the Digital Crown on the AirPods Max 2 to take a photo and start or stop video recording
Uh… cool? Do you have to be wearing them to use this? Or can you hide them awkwardly behind your back?

They don’t normally do that for high end stuff. Like they’ll sell the iPhone 16 still, but not a 16 pro.
I only block users if they spam stuff. If a whole page is the same shit over and over again then you’re getting blocked. I usually clear out the list every once in a while.
