I have not bothered with YouTube since ads and the stupidity at volume kicked in. So glad I am not trapped into it. Video content has a place but it’s bloated and predatory thanks to clickbait and monetisation. For that reason the good content gets lost/shunned on my behalf.
For most parents, your child is your heart, if something happens to your child you feel like your heart would just stop. So as a parent you are often vigilant to sensitivities, and they don’t even want to consider their child could consider it (Its the worst thought ever). So if they see that i think that might come out expressed in a range of other emotions such as anger or negativity.
Your poetry is great, and TBH its often a format to express dark topics. Don’t stress, and give your mom a hug.

I am trying to tackle my urge to be reclusive by getting out, and doing old school activities, making an effort to smile or chat. I am not looking for anything formative really, but its a step towards making sure i don’t feel lonely.
I try not to care what others think (not in an obnoxious way)…it really helps.

From the outside, its like they are waiting for something/or someone to act like an adult and save them. I think there needs to be more of a realization the system, the rule of law is broken, and it cant be glued back together. A change of leader or party is not going to fix this.
In this sense, it strikes me more as something like willful blindness, deliberate ignorance, or cognitive dissonance reduction

Search engines are pretty much redundant because they don’t return what we are looking for.

I hate them, I miss med-hatches and saloons. But they are hard to get hold of now, it feels like its the middle between tiny streetcars or ugly ute/wagons. I have even considered an estate car recently.
