You have to click on the title, not the picture

Edit: It looks like there is an issue with the link working properly on Lemmy instances. We were troubleshooting this but this shit isn’t my job and some folks are being dicks so I’ll work on this if and when I have the time and motivation.

If anyone else out there wants to volunteer their time as well and get the info we found so far to the devs of Lemmy and Mbin, go for it! If anyone wants to downvote or complain, they can go pound sand.

Edit 2: A report has been submitted. Thank you to everyone who helped troubleshoot this.

Sounds like the Jeroba client is broken and the developers should probably be notified. I did not do anything unusual to post this article.

Someone else having this issue is using Voyager and another is using old.lemmy.world+Firefox - this might be a Lemmy and/or Mbin issue.

Love that I’m getting downvotes trying to help get this fixed though. Why bother? Shit, maybe I won’t.

Edit: I did anyways. Guess I won’t let let a couple of assholes ruin things for everyone else.

You’ve linked to a picture of a motocycle, not the article that the image was presumably from.

The article link is there, but you have to click on the title. The autopreview Lemmy makes is just a picture.

Edit: It looks like this is an actual bug with Mbin posting to Lemmy instances that happens sometimes. A report has been submitted to the dev.
