Because “18F’s” are the rare unicorn of internet users, and more people pretend to be one than actually exist.

A real 18-year-old woman with this much spice & insight & humor would not be wasting her life & her free time with lemmy losers unless warming everyone up for manipulative purposes.

And remember that the media only puts out exactly what they want us to see, so they’re making all these details intentionally confusing to keep our little brains preoccupied, intended to keep us distracted from all the other atrocities they’re committing.

Their maps satellite view is not real-time. How the heck is Google maps supposed to know how many parking spots are available at any given moment and how long you’re gonna have to circle around the parking lot until you find a spot?

In my daydreams that sounds like a great idea. In reality I think the law would probably close in on me for doing that.

A home. I’ve been living in a van since September 2020 and I’m never looking back! Such freedom out here, all you need are solar panels and a lithium battery and a comfy bed, a gym membership, and you can go anywhere and do anything you want. And every dime you earn goes into your own pocket: no landlords or mortgage companies or utilities or HOAs, no property taxes, and you can live anywhere you want!

And reading through the comments, I have done away with all those things everyone else has mentioned too! I don’t need any of it. Except for money. Someone mentioned money. That’s stupid. Everybody needs money.

Every once in awhile on the news you’ll see a car that drove straight through a glass shop window front. Like the driver mixed up forward/reverse/gas/break.

Okay now that we solved that mystery, can anybody figure out why some . world moderators are removing my posts & comments and their reason is that I belong to .world?? How does that make sense? My only guess is that I feel like I am being discriminated against because maybe they don’t like me for one reason or another, and they’re making up specious nonsensical reasons for deleting my things.

Why did you block . world if they’ve been treating you all right?

I’m sincerely curious for a few reasons

first of all .world is the only instance that would let me in after I tried multiple times joining numerous other instances that would just buffer forever when I was trying to register and they never sent me confirmation emails, .world was the only one that would let me in.

But now when I make posts and comments in .world communities, moderators have been removing my posts & comments, they say because I belong to.world 🤯

Please make this make sense.

And look, here we are in a .world community. Let’s see how long the moderators let this comment of mine remain 🙄

I imagine with our current medical technology, patients could be given an ultrasound or something to determine what is in their stomach and intestines before surgery, but I see why it would be less expensive and more straightforward to simply trust the patient and ask them. It’s their own life on the line after all. But maybe some patients don’t fully understand the dangers of having food in their digestive system when going under anesthesia.

I don’t know much about computer networks but all I know is when I go to my friend’s house he insists I connect to his Wi-Fi but I use my VPN I don’t know why but I always do because I learned from Reddit and Lemmy & YouTube type people that VPNs are a wise thing to use, and it upsets him I think because he cannot spy on what I’m doing. Because he has mentioned in the past some people who lived in his house he spied on all their internet activity because they were doing bad things. So if he could spy on people’s internet activity when they are connected to his Wi-Fi in his house, he probably could spy on mine too but apparently he couldn’t because I was using a VPN 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t do anything nefarious or unethical on the internet, but I’d rather not my boyfriend be spying on everything I do. Just like I wouldn’t want anybody staring at me constantly all day long, that’s creepy. I just use the internet as my leisure time until I fall asleep.
