Where are you referencing that from? From the internet era its used in the Tribes franchises quick-chat, but its also from Rockey and Bullwinkle (1950/60s). Any uses older than that are a mystery to me.

Runner who has done a marathon here, I think the wall your hitting is when your body is switching gears from warm-up to cardio. Everyone is suggesting the couch-to-5/10k programs and that may help. I would suggest pushing your time spent running a bit further, more time doing cardio should improve things.
I just restarted my long-run training for the year (because its not cold outside anymore, and I want to run a race this year, its been a bit) and just passed that point where I can just go without having to take walking breaks on my “default loop”.
Also goals, having something to look forward to or to work towards helps a lot. Keep up the good work.

Ok, ill bite.
1/2) I guess technically pokemon, but I didnt classify that as anything different than normal saturday morning cartoons until much later in life. Since ~2007, serialized weekely episodes have been my personal time keeper and I pick atleast one show to follow each season. (Right now its Frieren)
as for favorite show… Gurren Laggan, tastes change over the years but it remains the most motivational show, the score still slaps all these years later and it was the peak of studio Ginax/ soon-to-be Triggers golden years. I rewatch it once a year and its one of the few shows I have on disk.
for worst show… Ive sat through some real stinkers, but I never got mad at a show until Shield Hero… Portal fantasy/Isakai as a sub-genre is overdone as a plot/set up mechanism and rarely do new shows do anything different with that established formula. Following tropes and trends is usually fine (a lot of these shows are media junk food anyway), but in this shows case they just drop the ball so intentionally it felt like a rug pull.
Arguing is not contradicting everything I say.
Yes it is.
Stop that.

Sing me a song about shitty copper.

Nah… My office does, and then pays a vendor to handle the issues (I work in IT, fixing those problems is literally my job) and they still cheap out on knock off toner (some of which works). It makes me sad…

Thats like asking what hammer is best. You can use most if not all to drive nails, but not all are best suited for the task.
Pop_OS lets Ubuntu drive fast and break things while focusing hardware/driver support, makes it great for video games. The only program Ive ever had issues with is Davinci Resolve, but those issues with linux compatibility are of their own creation, not the OSs.

Its that reason why I say everyone is a nerd about something.
Yah, you may be talking to the former school jock/football star who was barely handed their diploma, but ask them about their sport/the industries around it. You will likely get a better lesson on statistics and managment that you can get out of most text books. (Assuming you can keep the conversation focused)
People usually like talking about their interests.

For consumer grade yes, I look forward to seeing more people choose anything else (even Apple). For enterprise, lol, they have every Dell or HP house in the world by the balls. Atleast they ensured system admins have more job security (not lime that was in short supply anyway)
Random name generators from World of Warcrack and EvE Online.
No… Not really, but I like to pretend that I do.

Ive hosted my own TS3 server for well over a decade and matrix was spooled up this past year. They both are good products and server their roles, but they dont line up 100% with Discord and its user reach.
I am hopefull TS6 gets the funding it needs to get out of beta and I wish the Fluxer dev the best (they are going to need it).
What this whole discord debacle needs to teach people is how to be independent regarding your communications, data and their storage.

[Insert South Park “We’re Sorry” scene here]
Also, given the state of affairs and the lack of trust, I dont believe they are cutting them off. Assume the worst and do what you can to decouple from the platform I dont expect people to quit cold-turkey, but put in the effort, it takes a long time to degoogle yourself and given how ubiquitous discord was during the plague, I dont fault people for making sure lines of communication and contacts arnt broken.

There are a lot of people in positions of power whos paychecks rely on them not understanding things.

Take only photos, leave only footprints.
Leave the world a better place than you found it.
Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
It aint hard ✌️
Edit: also, try not to violate the weekend saftey brief.

Call me when they are doing the snapdragon beta. I really want to put this on my fairphone.

For elon branded tech, this makes perfect sence.
Its from the show Happy Days (1977) where Fonzie jumps over a shark while water skiing. Its considered the point where the show took a dramatic turn down hill and the term is still used in that manner today.

I feel like this chart covers most of them, but needs a different distinction. Which ones are fun to invoke in converstion to play off the crazy and obes that ate actually off the deep end.
For example, chemtrails is a vintage conspiracy thory, its been around for a while and most people can casually make fun of it. I cant make jokes about half of that top row because most normal people just know what most of those words even mean, let alone the contents of the conspiracy.
Users: rarely, mostly bots or service accounts that post too much and clog the feed.
Subs: all the time, half are because i’m dum and can only read english, the rest are because they are from an instance/sub I dont want to hear from anymore. (Looking at the .ml and hexbears of the platform)
