And your description sounds more like you’re asexual with men
Seems more like aromantic to me than asexual. OP enjoys the sex, just not the intimacy.
Labels are dumb, but if I had to call it something, it’d be homoromantic-bisexual or something like that.
I don’t see what’s wrong in describing oneself as a lesbian in that instance, given that all labels are just labels of convenience and it describes OP’s ideal preference well enough. Even if some gold stars may disagree.

Yeah I was gonna say, I don’t know if any country produces more high school themed media than Japan.

Consider me subscribed to !asoiaf@lemmy.world going forward! Cheers

Just to add to the great answers already given by others, another aspect to it all is that the mythology that developed into Judaism/Christianity/Islam was originally polytheistic. The god known as YHWH/Yahweh was one of many, but had a dedicated cult (not unlike Greco-Roman deities that often had cults of their own, revering one specific god to the exclusion of others who were nevertheless acknowledged).
So in that sense, the idea of Yahweh being omnipotent and omniscient is a bit of a retcon, meant to highlight the superiority of Yahweh over other gods as his henotheistic sect gradually developed into a more zealous monotheistic religion that rejected the legitimacy of all other gods entirely
That being said, the idea of Satan as a sort of antagonist character to tempt humans towards sin did not emerge until much later either, after the aforementioned omnipotent/omniscient revision of Yahweh. It really just boils down to whatever plot contrivances were convenient for the successive works of religious fan fiction that would later come to be canonized within each Abrahamic religion.

We could unintentionally create a simulation that’s effectively a hell and then populate it with entities that have subjective experiences we don’t realize exist. The only thing worse than ending a life is creating one just for it to suffer through its entire existence.
And this is basically the plot of the TV series Severance. Has me wondering how they intend to address it.

I didn’t even know that Lemmy was having any discussions about A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
While I no longer even have a Reddit account, I read hot takes after each episode on /r/asoiaf because I didn’t know where else to look for episode-by-episode discussions.

Bonus regret points if that Taz tattoo looks like this:

Could have been dumped over multiple seasons, too, not necessarily all at once.
The moss growth on one of the items doesn’t look within a year to me, at least, but I’m also not a biologist.

They always do shit on Fridays. If it’s to deliver good news, you give them the weekend to celebrate. If it’s to deliver bad news, the office is closed for the next two days and there’s nothing they can do about it.

You’d think you’d want it recommending porn in that case to use later as blackmail.

And yet the “free” market can’t be trusted to correct itself and fill the gaps if we allow a giant megacorp to fall.
Haven’t been to either, but I’ve always wanted to eat authentic sushi, wouldn’t mind that.
China’s got a lot of natural beauty but it’s the same problem as the US, where it’s way too big to see more than one or two things in a reasonable timeframe. Pick a must-see place and anticipate that you likely won’t have an opportunity to go anywhere else.
I wouldn’t worry about the drinking age, you can go clubbing literally anywhere. Go somewhere to do things you can’t do anywhere else.

For me it works when I log out/log in while connected to the VPN. But sometimes when I’m at a different access point and my routing changes, it goes back to me not being able to comment.
The first part is short for my initials, (Zebra Ignatious Kavanaugh) the second part is for where I was born (Zambia, After Khristmas) and the 25 is for 2025, the year I was born.

A Microsoft-oriented news outlet.
Think similar to MacRumors/9to5Mac/AppleInsider for Apple.

Just my subjective opinion to add, but I think they also succeeded at making the open world itself feel more puzzle-like, as opposed to the general set dressing it provides in a lot of RPGs. Being in a cold/hot/mountainous/wet/etc area is meaningful for the impact it has on your ability to explore.
I feel like it just gives a better sense of engaging with the environment, as opposed to engaging in the environment, if that makes sense.
I would argue though that it depends on the space you’re in. Conservative bubbles are astroturfed as fuck to inspire fear, sure, but it’s supposed to assure people that they are in the “in group” and there is a justified “other” to vilify and take the blame everything bad in the world. They have all the answers, and all you need to do is share on your socials and vote for the right person.
But I guess I’d consider political doomscrolling (which it seems like this is more veering towards) to be a separate phenomenon, which is not entirely immune to astroturfing either, but does not have it as a prerequisite. That discomfort is usually just the product of anxiety among people who realize they are not in the in group and are sharing their concerns.

Yeah I didn’t look that hard, was the first video I found that was sub 3 minutes. They’re all just marketing reels, no one else seems inclined to just upload a quick video on how teleprompters work.
I used to pay less than the single plan for a family plan, split between 5 people. Back when ad-free YouTube was an afterthought and my primary reason for using it was Google Play Music’s unlimited music storage and streaming.
The amount they just increased the cost of YouTube is about how much I’d be willing to pay total for no ads. Until then, they’re competing against zero ads (but no casting) for free.
