Most people in slower speeds areas don’t exactly have a choice in provider. If you only have one ISP in your area, the speed you get is just what they offer.

Kind of makes sense. If I had a Tesla, I might consider grabbing it for a month if I were going on a road trip to reduce the driving load.
It also lets people test it every once in a while to see if it actually works. Based on a ride I had in one a few months ago, it still has quite a bit to go.
I would be most concerned about them increasing prices over time. $100/month isn’t too bad, but I’m sure it will increase to well over double that over the next few years.

Choice is both one of Linux’s greatest strengths and weaknesses. There are so many distros that offer something great an unique, but that also leads to choice paralysis as well as fragmentation. I think Bazzite has been great for the Linux gaming space because it does offer a single user experience that reduces the knowledge barrier for those just getting into Linux.
Great article. I have leanred a lot of these tricks and shortcuts over the years yet I still learned quite a few things that would be useful.
Particularly that you can paste what you cleared with ctrl+U. No more opening a second tab or creating an additional ssh connection.
