I ran windows on my new build (it was cheaper to get someone else to build it than to buy the same exact parts myself 😩) just to make sure everything works and my god, I could barely get past the setup before getting annoyed. Linux is just waaaay easier to deal with, even with having to troubleshoot driver installs. Windows is set up now to where you can’t really do anything to your own computer.

Sometimes I wish the Epstein class would just mass bomb all us poors already and get it over with. This slow, painful death thing is extremely annoying and stressful.

I wonder what the breaking point is for those who don’t use adblockers.

Apparently my job will be getting rid of our personal local network drives (we each have our own only we can connect to) and moving that to Microsoft one drive. Our IT guy hates the new changes, but the orders come from way above. Not sure how well it will work…

Looks like the ways they’re doing this is via credit card or account age. I wanted to keep my current phone until it died before switching to something else but fuck me, who knows what nonsense they’ll make us do in the near future.

I was able to update 2 of 3 devices early last year, but couldn’t upgrade my old custom build. I did that due to possible tariffs; didn’t even think about this “AI” BS. Thought may as well just buy a custom build now. Wanted to wait another year, but I won’t be upset no matter what happens with prices if I get it now. I’m not sure my old girl can outlive the return of easily available PC parts. At least I also bought some extra storage over a year ago.

Thank you for this post. I’ve never been a fan of traveling, but do enjoy day trips. I love how I have everything setup at my home and always want to retire there at the end of the day. Nothing is better or more comfortable than my custom setup, especially since traveling to certain places can cause me major inconvenience due to health issues.

I’d probably be more likely to see places farther away if teleporting existed. Traveling long hours is horrible in itself.

I heard someone report Thiel talking about something similar to this, but I could have misunderstood. Either way, listening to him speak; he definitely is cuckoo bananas.

My internet experience is heavily filtered. I don’t see ads, I mostly focus on local news and events, and have certain keywords filtered here. It’s been so nice. It’s much less stressful dealing with my local and state community than everything else.

And many of those jobs still require an understanding of higher math/physics. An uneducated electrician is a dead one.
