It’s up there with Abraham Lincolm: Vampire Hunter with me.
Silly concept. Flawless grounded execution.

I had this film etched into my mind as a kid, but could not put the name to the scene. It was decades later when I found this film again

I often think about John/J’aan. Is he the embodiment of humanity, or the complete rejection of it, given all that happened throughout his life.
Also, do his skills decay if he does not use them for a period? e.g. did he learn to juggle and then forget
Are his memories just a general vague flattened blur of too familiar human patterns, and all he experiences is the present?
Great concept

I love Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise films. Shitty, shitty people. Good director and actor.

There’s a sci-fi author named Cordwainer Smith.
I’m guessing in a former life he was a black smith but couldn’t hack it in the forge and so turned to a life of shoestrings instead

3-2-1 Backup Rule: Three copies of data at two different types of storage media, with 1 copy offsite

I’m currently watching a lot of trashy 90s films on https://www.youtube.com/@blacktreemedia, which has been fun

The only one who could ever reach me
was the son of the carpenter.
Yes he was, yes he was

you wouldn’t go for the jewel-encrusted cornichons?

My dog in heaven, you could sell it for a priceless amount and then partition sections of the proceeds towards future rent.

There’s an easy way to test, but it can only be done once

I’ve been noticing a rampant increase in bot farming attempts, so that’s at least a signifier that we’re definitely becoming popular with the regulars

Yeah, Star’s initial impression was mostly “empty air-headed princess living her life abroad”, but watching her wise up to the actions of her kingdom, develop a sense of justice, and mature with it really was a level of growth I wasn’t quite expecting fomr a kids show

Relevant Mitchell&Webb

I think Disco Elysium players could get into KRZ pretty well

His weird grandfather appeal totally worked for me. A man operating at a quieter/calmer frequency than the chaotic world around him, completely at peace with his lot in life.
I think I like what he represents, more than who he is

I liked how they explored the monster angle

I do admit the last season does a great effort in deconstructing itself
yes he does
