As a person who has two kids and does a lot of playing and house work, if that’s what you love then do it. But fuck, I prefer the cubicle.
My kids are great, but everything is so repetitive and mandatory. Laundry HAS to get done. Shopping. Cleaning. Cooking. Even when you’re sick because your partner has their responsibilities too. You don’t get a lot of autonomy.
It’s a lot.
Trump didn’t go to war to help Israel, he just wanted a war to cover up the Epstein case.
Two things can be true.
It’s not a far stretch to say that Epstein gave Israel leverage over many people. And that leverage still exists today.

There’s plenty of diversity here. Loads and loads. I see it in every single thread.
But it’s different than the diversity on other platforms. The diversity on other platforms is like “should we feed the homeless or should we bomb another country?”. And the diversity here is more like. “Obviously we need to feed the homeless, that’s not a question, but we differ on how we accomplish that goal”.
If you’re looking for that other sort of diversity, you need to find a site with more sociopaths.

Just here to recommend BetterBird. It’s a Thunderbird soft fork that’s just frankly better. Faster. Some quality of life improvements. Etc.

Just say you worked for some company that went bankrupt.

Sure. And boy do I wish humans didn’t do that all the time. But they do. And so to expect otherwise seems silly to me.
Maybe I’m just more jaded than I should be.

I call into question your claim that most aren’t like that. But even if most aren’t, it’s what the community is known for.
If you don’t like what the community is known for, you have options. You can try and fix the reputation, you can deal with being stereotyped, or you could just be a person who doesn’t masturbate, and not part of a specific community.
I don’t think there’s a fourth option where you get to be part of the community, which is known for being horrible, but everyone just magically knows you’re not one of those ones.
Personally, I’ve chosen option 3 for most of my proclivities. I don’t drink, but I’m not part of AA because of their religious craziness. I don’t eat meat, but I’m not out here supporting PETA.
…
I hate how much sense this makes.
I’m stuck though. If you’re following and paying specific people, doesn’t that cross some fidelity boundary?

get accused of having malicious secret motives
Pattern matching does that. And it’s unfortunate. But so many people in that community do have those motives. And as a member of that community, it’d be great if you could help shout them down (and if you already do, thanks!)

Yes. If your point is that you want to have an opinion and not be teased or disagreed with, that is not a thing you can have. At least, I can’t imagine how that’d work.

I mean… it’s fine to have a community for that. But don’t expect the rest of the site to not disagree with you.
But go start a community for that. Ban people who come into your community and are jerks.

Oh no… People disagree with my opinion. I’m being oppressed.

You forgot the $200 “I get to use an apple so I’m fancy” tax

Can’t blame him for trying
He doesn’t get a free pass on shitty behavior just because he wants to be rich. That’s sociopath talk. Or capitalist. Whatever.

That’s horrible. I don’t know how to do a spoiler tag, but let’s just say ; same.
So to stay on topic. Would you use a feature that let you not have women drivers?

That’s super awkward. Sorry you had to deal with that.
To stay on topic, would you use an option to not ride with women drivers now?

But that doesn’t fit the narrative

Hello. You now know me. I have none of those stories. Women have been nothing but respectful to me.
But if you’re comfortable sharing, I would love to hear your story about how you were harassed by a female Uber driver.
All it took for John Wick was losing a dog. This lady lost more. I think the commenter thinks America is an action movie?
