Toxic masculinity, heteronormativity etc.

So what type of people are you talking about?

Are people who explicitly use “Don’t tread on me” as a slogan not usually rightwingers?

These people have sufficiently demonstrated that they actually love being tred on, IMO.

IIRC South Korea’s military wasn’t really on board with it in 2024, either. I have very little trust in the USA’s current troops when it comes to that …

Germany, pretty common among gen x generation and older (my family isn’t really that wealthy, either; the gen x people all got their home through inheritance), probably about 1 in 10 among younger generations. I doubt that I’ll inherit much, either my parents or grandparents are probably going to sell their houses and spend it all on geriartric care.
Germany exists.

That sounds like it would only work if the straight person can easily interpret the non-binary person as “basically like a cis man/woman just with different pronouns”, and the non-binary person either has the same set of genitals that you’d expect based on their appearance, or the straight person just doesn’t care about unexpected genitals, which seems rare.
But I’m bi, so I wouldn’t know.

Sounds like the only upside is tax evasion. Employees are generally not resourceful enough to get away with that.

So you’re saying, US employers might start reintroducing company currency in the near- to mid-future?

I don’t think it’s fair to make Jesus responsible for the modern pick-and-chose followers of his religion, and I doubt modern Christianity would even be recognizable to him - the late Roman state religion is pretty different from his reformed Judaism. Plus IIRC early Christendom had some doomsday cult elements.

I hear Hitler treated his dog very well.
IMO, people generally aren’t pure good or evil. But that doesn’t mean that people like Hitler or Genghis Khan aren’t giant assholes.

Genghis Khan is up there. His conquests killed millions, I see estimates of up to 40 million, a significant percentage of the world’s population (possibly double-digits). It’s even theorized that so many people died that global temperature dropped as a result. You could go and argue that a large unified empire would prevent many future wars and thus could be a net positive even if establishing it is very bloody (see Pax Romana), and Genghis’ rule was reportedly relatively progressive compared to his contemporaries. But then, you need to make it so that the emprie doesn’t immediately break apart after its ruler dies, which he failed at.
Though you can always argue that he wasn’t really more evil than other rulers, just more successful. Which still makes him a “great villain”, but there are more directly evil deeds than conquest, such as genocide.

Messenger bag. I don’t like carrying stuff in the pockets of my pants, jackets etc., especially sharp and heavy-ish things like keys, and I like keeping lots of stuff on me when I leave my home.

Triple-check that’s it’s real, make sure to secure it in multiple ways, then research charities so I can give most of it away. A couple of million € would already afford me all the luxuries that I could care about.
Not even sure what I’d actually spend money on that would improve my life. I seem to be accumulating medical issues that are difficult to diagnose, let alone treat; not sure that even a billion dollars would actually help much with that (we do have a somewhat sensible healthcare system in my country). I’d probably look into hiring some kind of personal assistant/caretaker/chauffeur, to improve my odds of actually making it to important appointments (or just having them do it for me, if it doesn’t require that I personally show up).

Probably a big “it depends”. Being racist when the only obvious difference between two people is the skin color (e.g. middle class white and black people in the US, you often can’t even tell by the name) is quite extreme, but what if there are some differences? Many groups that racists hate can have noticeable accents or smell different due to different dietary habits.
Even when its just black vs. white in the US context, apparently many blind people still react differently depending on someone’s race:

https://edition.cnn.com/2015/08/30/health/blind-people-race
Looks like you can’t escape living in a racist society just because you can’t immediately tell when someone isn’t white.

Not really. They were certainly white supremacists and hated Jews, but Christianity didn’t really play a big role in their ideology. They spent a lot more time supressing local churches than going on about how christian they are, and many of them were very interested in pagan religions.
I can kinda see that for when he was younger, but even back in 2016 he was mostly an old fart with incoherent rambles and fugly face makeup. Also, I think this face with the pursed lips he often makes wasn’t really a thing in his younger years, or it’s just way more blatant and offputting with his old man face.
