Thanks for the link I never remembered the numbers to know if it was for that or not…course been online long enough to know that’s the code (style) shown in comments. Was a lot of comments at one point.
My only unsureness of the code is cause I’m old and miss newer stuff so had to check to be sure.

I always thought the 1Gbps was awesome and perhaps a good incentive for other companies to upgrade (probably more the reason since they’re Google and their ad bucks). Recently saw a reason to switch for 2.5, did it then was told by the installer they don’t even have cable that does it. Mean. I did it myself and my stream downloads are quite fast, but it’d have been nice if my provider mentioned that in the first place so I knew who had to run the wires. It was only through some holes, behind the sink / dishwasher so not awful but you td have been nice to understand 2.5 was higher than their techs supported. Also needed a switch / router upgrade. Which was actually quite fun to do and minimal cost now can get a mesh wifi going.
Still if your techs can’t provide what is needed in cables for your upper end least tell the customer first.

Probably not what this article means but had a coworker at a previous job give a bunch of suggestions or answers at one point (want to say very small company single programmer is me, few tech support and sales people). One guy gives suggestions based on chat gpt, so I end up figuring out what is incorrect from the suggestion.
Mean I know he’s trying to be helpful but giving suggestions that don’t work is a bit of a time waster. To be honest I’m probably middling as a programmer, I can figure out stuff but not a fantastic one (maybe I sell myself short never come across an issue I couldn’t solve but took time). So having to spend time to go over that just makes me go over stuff I really don’t need to. Quite a pain, as much as I appreciate them trying to help it’s a time waster checking out those options to see if they work.

When I slept in the room with the ensuite, we didn’t care when we slept. Mean don’t think either of use dropped deuces (#2) close to sleep time there, we also have 2 other toilets so that bls.
Basically my thought is, if someone can smell it less if I pooped elsewhere in the place, do it that spot. Cause I don’t like smelling poop so assume others do not care to either.
Course I have my own issues but still assume that’s a good rule to live by. Man when a date had a curtain over the bathroom doorway and not a solid (well semi solid there mostly empty in the middle) door I couldn’t relieve myself. Mean enough making out maybe I could tinkle but that’s about it.

I won’t say it’s always my thing but sometimes a plain action movie with few cheesy lines is all you’re looking for. Definitely saw enough Chuck Norris in the 80s to confirm that.

Seems odd they’d both end up in the same crappy movie together in that year. May not be remembering movie years well but Urban was least in Star Trek and Bettany in Marvel even if only as a voice but assume the plan was to make him Vision from the start.
Was it entertaining at least? It sounds like it could be a fun watch, in theory…like the synopsis of Red Letter Media’s Best of the Worst movies probably do.

I thought you were being overly descriptive at first, but this is good info for anyone to know. Especially about the dumbass who ‘leads’ the US but couldn’t lead a horse to water without getting bored then the fact he is in charge of the largest nuclear arsenal along with largest military force on earth. Like who gives a narcissist that power?
Yeah we humans suck to let this happen in any proper society.

Cheap computer (I’m Canadian so let’s say these are maple bucks) say $500, what’s a rental $30 a month, so 16ish months before it’s paid off.
I ran a media PC off a $300 computer for years (I can’t recall exactly least 2 maybe 3). If you need more you probably don’t need a cloud one, if you get a cloud one it’s cheaper to buy a cheap computer every 2 years.
It may make a sense to some but I enjoy having my nas backup and separate media PC. Also if Amazon goes down you can’t even access the calculator, least with no Internet there are options at home.

Sounds like a reasonable idea for the issue presented. Mean the issue could be on one drive saying the file is there and complete, or many other issues since I don’t know the API in the least.
Yours would be my first guess for sure, it thinks it completed so delete local copy, which is what you’d prefer in that situation, well mostly, I sort of prefer a local working copy but need some other names and the program to recognize thm with then upload on actual save to the cloud storage…I say that and still curse at excel when it says it has a backup copy from a forced reboot, always keep one open heh.
Actually to be fair I hate those storages for that reason so much crap can go wrong without a knowledgeable user it makes things worse. You just hope the program can tell if it did it was done correctly heh and if not then end up clicking the wrong button and it’s all gone.
Local NAS for anything you think you’ll need, random ‘free’ cloud storage as a general backup. Mean I assume the NAS has raid so mostly good without more.
That’s about my thought if a program became actually sentient then yes turning it off would be awful. Plus obviously the first sentient artificial life form who knows if it’d happen again. I guess it could be debated if it was a simulation and tons were sentient and had no life outside of such.
I still go with my first answer though, any sentient life observed outside natural biology would be a huge thing. I’d still want to give it a limited sandbox to work with so didn’t go all Hal or Deus Ex to achieve some random goal that wasn’t apparent. Least for awhile.
