I guess I’m more on the ppg side of things. I can see why flying unpowered down the side of mountains would get you into those situations.

Those wildly experienced paraglider pilots are usually getting killed doing advanced acro or flying in sketchy conditions though.

The new sport pilot rules may be for you then. There’s also Ultralight aviation or powered paragliding.

The people on there are super knowledgeable. The guy who started the forum has a pretty good YouTube channel too.

My partner and I try to see Jeff Rosenstock any time we can. Its been probably 5 or 6 shows now haha. Parquet Courts is another one, we’ve seen MJ Landerman a few times as well. Would recommend all.

I put solar panels and battery storage on my house because my local utility is a publicly traded group of thieves. As much of the system as possible has been bought used except for the batteries.

In that, I buy used as much as possible. Fuck buying new, let someone else buy that 1100 dollar phone I’ll buy it on ebay 2 years later for half that.
