I think in general comedies are just way easier to rewatch for what ever reason.
Also I think just because I rewatch a movie a lot does not mean it is the best movie. I think some movies just give a certain vibe that is enjoyable.
I probably also watched some Christmas movies a ton of times just because they played on TV a lot when I was a kid like Home Alone.
I don’t remember why but I bought a $50 manual pencil sharpener that came with own leather carrying case. When it arrived I opened it and there was just a regular brass sharpener inside so I returned it. I was actually relieved when it wasn’t the item I ordered and had an excuse to return it.
I guess I don’t have anything to regret.
If anyone else really enjoyed the dark topics and themes of Bojack Horseman I highly recommend trying to read Goodnight Punpun. It’s a “slice of life” manga that goes through similarly dark themes with a lot of depth, excellent writing and beautiful artwork. In my opinion it is a must read for anyone who enjoys this sort of stuff.
No I have not and I will continue to pretend they don’t exist. First and foremost IMO the FLCL story was a complete story on it’s own with beginning and end, so I don’t exactly understand why they made more instead of just making a new anime. Second, I heard the new seasons were not nearly as good. I do listen to the new pillows music though so a new Pillows album is a silver lining I guess.

I didnt grow up with it and non of my friends had played it. I always thought it was a kids game. During covid a friend started a server and I joined in. I was surprised by the depth of the game and just how much there was to do.
Since everyone already recommended what I was going to recommend, I’m going to say fuck it. I’m going to recommend FLCL. It’s not the best anime ever but it is extremely unique and has some of the best music of any anime. And both the anime’s sub and dub are great. If you speak english I’d recommend the dub. The series is only 6 episodes. This anime has aged like wine for me with each subsequent viewing making the anime better and better.
For my favorite comedy (more “haha” comedy), it’s gotta be It’s always sunny in philadelphia.
Nah. Im saying even for relaxing activities. I love overcast for hiking, just walking around town, shopping, sight seeing, biking, picnic. Literally does not matter. I prefer overcast or partially cloudly anyday over sunny.
Sunny weather fucking sucks. Overcast is by far the best weather. You don’t have to deal with sun in your eyes, or glare or feeling like your skin is burning after 30 minutes of standing outside. You can still see everything just fine.
I got to live in San Francisco for a few years and going outside to 10 C cloudy, foggy or overcast weather (almost) everyday was amazing. It was literally the most perfect weather I have ever experienced and the only thing I miss about that city.
I agree, but the problem is if such a higher being did exist, I don’t think it’s someone anyone should worship.
One of the pros of age verification vs parental controls I could see is the social aspect. I could definitely block my child from accessing social media but if all of their friends are on there then I feel like I am stifling their social life. It just doesn’t like there is a good solution. However with age restrictions, no kid is getting on social media, and so they will be forced to come up with alternatives for socializing together.
Many many years ago I was in high school and just hoped on the maplestory train. Of course I was a complete newb and didn’t realize you could screw up your character.
This was back when you had to roll a virtual dice to determine your starting stats. This was also back when you can screw up your character if you over level the character before getting a job because you only earn skill point after you get the job.

I started by “making” frozen dinners, instant noodles and meal kits.
The most complex stuff I’d make is stir frying with some stir fry sauce.
Starting somewhere around 3rd year in college I decided I wanted to get better at cooking so I would look up a recipe for something I liked to eat once a month and try to make it.
Once I graduated I realized I actually like cooking so I took the idea further and decided to make a new dish every week. I would research a dish, find a recipe that I thought looked good and then buy the ingredients the next time I’m at the grocery store. I practiced mise en place (ie. I would measure, wash and cut every ingredient before turning on the heat) and it really helped make every dish accessible.
I did this for 10 years. Turns out if you consistently cook at least once a week for 10 years you make mistakes, learn and get better.
I’m not as good as a chef and my knife skills suck but I like to think I can cook food as good as most restaurants. I also got to explore a large range of dishes and discovered a lot of foods I love and how to make it.
I didn’t think about it that much when I read the manga originally, but in retrospect, I would guess she gagged herself so she doesnt wake up Punpun. Not because she didnt want him to find her but because she didnt want Punpun to rescue her.
