i literally gave up on the last boss after 100%ing the rest of the game. just a brutal experience and there’s no carrot left to make me grind it out for a couple hours.

i appreciate the old ones! it’s interesting to see why someone would revive an old post, and there are some (usually active community drama) that can keep going for days and wouldn’t show up anywhere else.

it occurs to me this most closely mimics old web forum sorts.

i like the new comment sort since it’s like a hybrid of new and active. yes, 0 comment posts will show up there.

wfh 99.9% since 2020. my slice of software dev has really embraced it as part of the culture - most job opps are still remote, enough to filter out any in person or hybrid. love it, could never go back to commuting and socializing in person. i struggle sometimes with productivity/adhd but that happened in the office too. so many days just spent fiddling on my phone with one ear listening for footsteps. i keep getting hired/promoted so despite my shortfalls i must be doing something right.
