They profile you by looking at you. Cop sees you use your grapheneOS phone and thinks you’re a drug dealer. There’s no tech involved. They just use it as a sign, same way they’ve used hoodies, skin colour, or nationality to suspect you of something.

Spanish police already profiles you for using grapheneOS

Yeah they have TOO many features at this point.

MacBook hardware and performance on Linux would be so good.

Turn on Hide Dock in settings.

Honestly compared to windows it’s a lot more customisable. There’s a vibrant community of developers that make really great apps for macOS, and nowadays a lot of it is foss too. I just recently installed DockDoor, which enables your desired windows not app switching and A LOT more. There’s another app that adds basically hyprland style window management, and there are other alternatives as well, like rectangle, or Loop, which add more normal window snapping.
Also I don’t know if it’s a setting I changed but I don’t have dynamically adjusting icon positions. It behaves the same way as windows.
Overall imo there’s a ton more easy customisation compared to windows, and a lot of it adds big new features in my experience. Of course it doesn’t compare to Linux, but it’s a lot better than windows.
Is it? He keeps clicking the button as if he’s waiting four something to change (like turn the light red)
Invest in a DAC instead of a cheap dongle.

I think part of it might be that DVDs are easier to find used or just cheaper new. GenZ isn’t really rolling in cash and in my area for example used stores rarely if ever carry Blu-ray.

There is a bit of a romantic feeling in only having a physical copy of a photo though, and Polaroids are the easiest ones to do this with.

Oh shit lol. I should stop responding before having coffee!

In Amsterdam when it was snowing like 2 weeks ago they also didn’t clear the sidewalks at all except in the city centre.

It’s more like old iTunes and the like. No subscription, just buy albums. Artists define the price, and keep the majority of their revenue with some Fridays being Bandcamp Fridays where they get to keep all the revenue. You can download everything you own or you can stream it from the website or app on your phone also.
Only real downside with Bandcamp is that you won’t find some artists there but it all depends on what you listen to and want to find.
Oh my his finally. The only fediverse platform I use is Lemmy because finding interesting stuff and communities here is so easy. Mastodon is a pain in the ass by comparison, and starter packs really helped me find some cool accounts at the beginning of Bluesky.
