  • I’m sure men’s razors have probably improved over time for this use-case, but I find good women’s blades to be more gentle on the sensitive skin and I feel like it’s a closer, smoother shave with no razor burn or bumps even if used with minimal shaving creme. I theorize that women’s razors are designed specifically for body shaving, and for example, legs are a large amount of real estate to keep shaved; where traditionally men’s razors were only “designed” for the face.

    I also found a silicone “stropper” somewhere a decade ago to use with disposable blades, which I quickly use just before, that extends their life quite substantially.
