I wonder how much of this is for users and how much is to keep VC cash flowing. Since you need AI to keep those dirtbags happy.

Some big “No hallucinations” vibes coming here.
Some people really think skills etc are golden laws that can’t be broken. Rather they’re minor suggestions that an LLM will happily throw out as like you said it doesn’t understand words.

There’s also 100 YouTube channels of “real life Pokémon”. What will we ever do without those???

I figure that was the prompt that caused this “bug”

That’s why he lives in the base. So he doesn’t have to admit he got his license revoked.

Even if they did it’s nowhere near the level of HP

Well shit. I saw it on hacker news and thought it was recent.
My bad for not paying attention.

He thinks it throws off AI scrapers. It does not

My company is starting to roll out having AI both put up PRs AND give code reviews.
I would not be surprised to hear Microslop is doing the same thing and having horrible results.
Amazing what happens when you try to turn your talent pool into lifeless casino monitors.

I find it awful. It’s like someone constantly trying to finish my sentence for me but fucking it up everytime.
I wish I could just disable it everywhere.

“I’m sorry you feel that way about AI and can’t handle the future. Here’s some free ChatGPT credits”

Companies wanna feel special and have different workflows around tickets. Making customizable workflows that connect with a ton of different systems easily is a shockingly hard problem.
I feel like there’s a business opportunity to take 50% of Atlassians value and spin it up into something simple but getting the good 50% down is kinda hard as someone is going to miss one stupid feature that runs 40% of their workflows.

I got it from a Folding Ideas video (the problem with nfts one)
But here’s a link actually detailing it https://www.gate.com/learn/articles/beware-of-unexpected-nfts-and-assets-in-your-wallet-they-could-steal-all-your-funds/7682
Edit: for those that haven’t seen the video it’s worth the 2 hour watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ_xWvX1n9g

My favorite thing is there are certain NFTs that are viruses that as soon as you do ANYTHING with them, they go and transfer all of the contents of your wallet to another wallet. Even deleting them triggers this action. So if you have unknown NFTs in your wallet you can’t touch them lest they trigger this virus.
How could this not be the future of commerce?

When I worked there 20% of the work we had to do had to go through a senior engineer. And getting his time was like pulling teeth.
More of the time he would just nitpick grammar in docs and then finally rubber stamp work. It was awful.

I’m so happy they got rid of dismissing shorts and throw them in a feed more! Please don’t get rid of them!

Speedrunners unfortunately use YouTube and twitch only. So it’s pick your cancer on that front.

Not that I have any skin of the game or what you’re saying, but his entire pitch is to build something that’s not an LLM
LeCun argues that most human reasoning is grounded in the physical world, not language, and that AI world models are necessary to develop true human-level intelligence. “The idea that you’re going to extend the capabilities of LLMs [large language models] to the point that they’re going to have human-level intelligence is complete nonsense,” he said in an interview with WIRED.
I forget the technique he’s going after but it’s supposed to be different from the regular LLM.
EDIT: if I paid more attention I’d see it’s in the article. World models.
That axios supply chain attack was a bitch. There were extensions compromised from that shit.
