Signal doesn’t send anything in the payload. They just use it to wake the phone up and then download all messages that are waiting to be delivered through the usual encrypted means. All Google knows is that something happened at that time. They don’t know anything else.
But they only instruct Signal to wake up and download whatever is waiting. They don’t contain the message contents.
You don’t log into other services you just subscribe to what you want from them.
If you know of a community on a piefed server like !piefed_meta@piefed.social you just search for that community on mander.xyz. If it isn’t known yet to mander you have to wait a little bit for it to fetch it and then you can subscribe to it or just view the newest posts.
If someone else from mander has already subscribed to the community mander will already know about it and have many posts, including comments. If you are the first than mander will only fetch the newest posts.
It works exactly the same way with Lemmy communities.

Reminds me of the time I was working on something for Mercedes but they couldn’t supply me with the computer for testing. I had to go into the super cramped actual car that was parked in a super expensive secure garage.
Left the company and when I went there for a visit I saw that the new guy actually got to test and develope on a computer they had ripped out of a car.
This might produce some arguments, but The Last of Us. Joel is far from a good guy. This is established in the first few minutes of the game and you get enough “hints” about that throughout.

Other more obvious games are many many Star Wars games where you can either choose or outright start as the bad guy, like TIE Fighter, the Jedi Knight series, Knights of the Old Republic 1+2 + The Old Republic, Squadrons, those Battlefield games and the Age of Empires clones (can’t remember the names) and Force Commander as well I think. Oooh and Rebellion.

It’s really hard to decide whether XSLT or JavaScript is worse. On the one hand XSLT wasn’t cobbled together in a weekend. On the other it requires you to write XML and its “arrays” start at 1.
That’s just for those few websites that use their RSS feed as their content source. If they want to keep doing that they can just get a JavaScript library that provides XSLT functionality. The feed itself is untouched.
Xslt has nothing to do with RSS being available or not.
Just be careful not to overdo it!

I got COVID from my kids in 22, had a bad fever, that passed and then I never really recovered. Followed my doctor’s orders, took a walk every day, until I couldn’t leave the house anymore. Eventually sitting on the couch was too much and now I can’t leave the bed and I’m getting dumber every day. I can’t shower, I have to balance getting worse through the exhaustion of brushing my teeth or, well, brushing my teeth. Watching long movies is too hard, watching shows is too hard, playing games is too hard.
Yesterday my CPAP machine broke down so now I’m feeling even worse because I can’t sleep property. So I guess that time is now.
