There’s already a well-documented method to take these out:

List of Starlink and Starshield Launches - Wikipedia
~10,000 Satellites currently orbiting right now, and that’s just Starlink.
Check out the list of launches under “Falcon 9 Launches > Starlink Launches.” It’s every other day now (sometimes consecutive days) that they launch another rocket, and each payload is carrying 20 to 60 satellites.

Our internal slack channels contain more and more AI-written posts, which makes me think: Thank you for throwing this wall of text on me and n other people. Now, n people need to extract the relevant information, so you are able to “save time” not writing the text yourself. Nice!!!
My last software dev employer did this, except with the “voice recording” feature. Instead of composing messages in text in a text chat (because that takes too long), he’d hit the record button and just start talking it out, then send the recording. Easy! Then the team had to download and listen to ~5 minutes of verbal diarrhea, pausing and rewinding for twice that long in an attempt to glean something useful from it. This particular kind of delusion existed before AI.

Just let the AI have a teensy weensy peek at all of your emails, guys, it’s just an itsy bitsy little peek, what’s the big deal, why don’t you trust us??

Computer, how many R’s in “thank you?”
This’ll turn out great, for sure.

I know I’m not supposed to attribute to malice that which could be attributed to stupidity, but sometimes I think the legislators’ ignorance is actually a front, and their real goal is just even more surveillance.

Jury’s out on the “fast” part

Technology has so greatly and so significantly outpaced the law for so long now, that we may never recover from unregulated tech bro shit from my youth, and now that I’m old enough to have school aged kids, it has only gotten exponentially worse.

Yeah, I have no idea what the intent was here, but it definitely seems intentional.

Not all, maybe, but just enough.

Sure, they can afford a luxury foreign automobile, but one particular drill bit? We’re not made of money!

Welcome to discourse in a post-truth society. Reality doesn’t matter anymore; news agencies can just make shit up, and even the comments on the fake articles are fake.
Rail against it, until it’s the only thing you ever do. A single bot can still post a thousand times more, and on a thousand different accounts, and on a thousand different platforms. Just one of them can formulate fake ideas and then fake arguments with itself that enfold like a fractal, and there is an effectively infinite number of them.
Kessler Syndrome is happening before our very eyes, only on a much more local scale.
This ad was brought to you by OpenAI.

Right? This article is so full of shit, there’s hardly room left for anything else. It’s like they only collected soundbites from the employees who are furthest from any actual development role…

It’s only had 1 false alert in the last year and that was caused by a spiderweb on the camera.
Make sure you fill out a bug report.

DID YOU JUST DOWNLOAD A VIRUS ON MY KEYBOARD?
How can it possibly predict the next word in my sentence when it can’t even predict where/who I want to pee??
Suffocation, no breathing
Don’t give a fuck if the ads are deceiving

I donated my DVD collection (200ish titles) to my local library last year. Warmed my heart a bit to read this.
If by “rubes” you mean any individuals that this administration views as political enemies, then yeah, I think you nailed it.
