Eggs are limited to 6/family at my local producer and price increased of 20% at an other. At supermarket you find only “class 3” eggs (battery farmed). I guess people are very concerned about what they eat in my area!

The real question is would you ditch your car if it were more convenient and faster to go by bike or transit, or with a shared car service for extra and week-end trips?

Already bike to commute, to groceries and to school to drop the kids but we have a decent infra.
When buying I sometimes choose organic products to cut on fertilizers, buy local products, and vote for people that encourage “green” policies as all others don’t seems prone to look for alternatives.

Maybe it is time to switch to communities built not around cars?
Maybe we could have 4 days weeks and more work-at-home to save gas?

Maybe distracted driving should be made criminal offense first, and controls on drivers increased.
2 days ago a car driver in front of me was watching a skiing contest on his phone on the dashboard, last year I followed one who was playing candy crush.
I’m glad my daily commute is 80% on bike paths separated from car traffic, those 20% are why my kids can’t go to school with their bikes and my wife does not take her bike.
Love.
Yesterday I saw here the post of the woman saying the face change of her husband going from :| to :) just by seeing her was the best feeling.
Imagine having this with everyone
