I used to have some when I was a kid but they stopped at some point, now nothing unless you count tinnitus.

I’d see little dots of light racing around on busy designs such as a Persian rug. Occasionally I’d get this thing where time would seem to slow down for a moment and every sound would seem like booming explosions.

I wasn’t even consciously aware I felt this exact way until I read this comment, living in a shitbox where it rains 160 days of the year will do a number on you

Nothing much, my wife and I don’t really care about the holiday. We might pull some wild duck out of the freezer for a nice dinner

Back when I worked on a school boat we had a German kid in to cruise ship spotting. Every time we encountered a cruise ship he’d run to the chart house with his special notebook and write down all the AIS info and whatnot. We regularly saw what were in my opinion way cooler boats like tallships and navy warships but he didn’t care about anything else.
