  • Well… The “wing” of a parliament very roughly represents a political compass. Liberals aren’t left-wing anymore by virtue of having more politically left parties that occupy those physical seats today.

It does create a very funny situation like here in Denmark where “Venstre” (literally The Danish word for “Left”) is a right-wing political party. More right-wing than “Liberale Alliance” (Danish Liberal Party).

But Venstre used to be the left-wing party when it formed. Since then, green parties, socialist parties, communist parties, and various parties adjacent to those ideologies, have formed to occupy the left side of the parliament seats, pushing Venstre’s physical seating position all the way to the right side.

With liberals and moderates being more politically left than them, Venstre now sits right next to the most conservative parties of Denmark. They’re still keeping the name, though.

  • Bazzite is good. An install-and-forget operating system.

What I miss most is being able to see exactly what is being updated inside the KDE user interface, and having some control over what version of something I install in case it breaks something.

However, I’ve had a lot less dependency issues on Bazzite than I had previously on Ubuntu, especially considering my Intel Arc GPU.

  • It was fuckin’ yum! Made the beef patties myself too. Only thing missing was something to give the “smokey” flavour. Couldn’t find Liquid Smoke during shopping.

    Ah well…

Gave the patties a basic combo of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and a hint of Chipotle powder. Turned out great.

And yeah, that’s indeed Bazzite as my PC OS. Haven’t touched Windows since 11 was first announced. Started on Ubuntu back then.

  • No.

    And you shouldn’t.

Art, “true” art, is not merely some product. It’s a personal expression of the artist. An artist cannot separate themselves from the art they create; it’s always based on their experiences, their outlook, their opinions, their own ways of expressing emotions, or reacting to events however fictional.

Yes, a writer can create characters with opinions or behaviours that aren’t their own, but things that are personal to the artist will always be the benchmark. You do that automatically. There’s no other way to make a character unless they’re a plank of wood with a face on it.

I myself am an artist and I have many original characters.
