Very close, but that’s not the guy. We’re familiar with him (was he the “burnin’ nipples” guy in Demon Knight?), but the guy were thinking of is much younger.

Somewhere around here I have a Brown Troop Fishing (or something like that) sticker from when he first started doing it.
Were I not on the other side of the country, and if I had much interest and aptitude for fishing, I’d say we could buddy up.

They took a break for a while (I think Aaron had some substance abuse issues) and then came back and toured. Last I saw, they’re taking a break again, I think for mental health reasons. I’m a terrible stalker so you’ll probably want to look it up yourself if you want accurate info.

Ween.
Seen them a half-dozen times and they kick ass every time. I’ll see them any time they come to town (if budget and schedule allow).

Seen Al 4 or 5 times in the last 30 years. A fantastic show each time. Drug some friends to the last one, all of which were not real Al fans, and all of which said they enjoyed the show way more than expected.

Counterpoint… I loaded the site in Firefox on my phone without issue or paywall.
It did look like it tried to open some kind of pop-up for a split second, so maybe the ad-blocker worked here.
Not trying to call you a liar or anything. Just that user experience may vary.
Defederated because shitheels can’t stop posting child porn.

I went in to this blind and ended up quitting after a couple hours because there was no save ability and the checkpoint system was useless.
I learned months later, from my son-in-law, that it’s a time-loop game. Tried it again with this knowledge and had a MUCH better experience.
So, my advice is to go in 99% blind. The player should know it’s a time-loop game before they start.

I appreciate your effort, but I’ve been through all of that already. Forum posts across the internet and the best “solution” I can find is to not plug the controller in until the title screen… Which doesn’t always work.
There have been times where I could play without issue for 4 hours or more. There are also times that I load the game and am immediately punching at the air or getting in and out of a vehicle without pressing any buttons at all.
This isn’t an issue with the controller layout. This is specific to this game and how it registers controller input.

That’s how I play it now. I tried through the Epic app and still have the same issues.

You bring up another good point: post-apocalyptic mailman trying to rebuild America isn’t exactly captivating, especially at a time when America is taking actions to prove itself unworthy of being rebuilt, even if only in a fantasy setting.

Not set up like that on my couch.
Besides, in 40 years of gaming, Death Stranding is the ONLY game I’ve ever had to deal with this in. Plenty of games with bad controls and horrendous responsiveness, but this is the only one that is so supremely fucked in this way.

I have over 50% of the achievements in Death Stranding (can’t find my play time on the stupid Epic site) and am a breath away from stopping altogether due to the control issues.
Trying to play this fucking game with a controller is an exercise in frustration. For some fucking reason, the game can’t handle using a controller without sending phantom inputs after a short time.
If I hadn’t gotten the game for free on the Epic store I’d be pissed for giving my money for broken shit.

BMW turn signals are only decals.

Ideologically, no. In reality, yes.
Had you not been participating in the activities, they would likely not have any attention placed on them.
In the same way you are trying to initiate changes by putting pressure on those who you feel are doing wrong, those who feel that YOU are in the wrong will put pressure on you. Harassing your relatives not only puts pressure on you from your relatives, but is also designed to break you emotionally by watching the people you care about be hurt.
I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s the way things work.
Are you not familiar with “ctrl+f”?
