Within reason, yes. Not looking for anything complicated.

Gas is up about $1/gal in the last month or so. It was up 10 cents a day for a bit.
It also suggests that by 2029 we could have “an incredibly luxurious universal basic income.” Which seems absurd here in 2026.

Uh… it was like the default example for “evil leader” before Hitler.
Sounds like someone who wants attention. Enjoys the edginess and obvious absurdity in a statement like that.

If it’s on the internet archive, then it’s probably been scanned by AI.
Not sure I understood your question.
People enjoy costumes. There’s a category for it at the Oscars. It’s a career occupation.

There are those Visa cards that charge you like $4 every time you load money on them. Western Union does a similar thing too. It’s how people with bad credit/no ID get a card.

ProBoxTV is a YouTube channel with boxing. 4 shows in the next month. Next one is in a few hours. It’s free but you can donate to their channel.
Putting other people up to random ‘tests’ that they don’t know about, that seems like a bad system. Though your specific example about kids is clearly an important thing to be worried about.

There seems to be an anorexia fad. People who didn’t even need to lose weight now look anorexic after taking it. Feels like we’re back in the 90’s. Baggy pants, midriff shirts, and being incredibly incredibly thin.
What? I like… use pillows. They get old. Sometimes they get gross. Sometimes they get thrown away. Sometimes I buy a new pillow. I’m supposed to be ‘fluffing’ them? Seems like extra work. Sounds like you work for your pillow. Your pillow should work for you.
Takes like, 2-5 years not 6 months. Buy from Costco? IDK.
Google “why did sailors drink alcohol” if you want some sources.
“Beer and wine were invented because drinking water was unsafe.”
No, people have generally always known how to find clean drinking water and understood its importance. Beer and wine got made because they were delicious, nutritious, and got ya drunk.
Sounds like someone who misheard a different fact. Which is why sailors drink low proof alcohol on long voyages. Because they couldn’t safely store water for such a long time. Water turns green and becomes undrinkable if you store it in a barrel. It’s one of the things that helped unlock ocean travel in the 1400’s.
Alcohol occurs naturally in nature. It did not need ‘inventing.’

People who use that quote in the 21st century are generally arguing pro-fascism.

It’s a little weird to see them celebrating the surveillance state that they are creating. A system like this is wide open for abuse.

“You [know] the biggest problem with becoming friends with you?” he wrote in the email. “The life you lead is so outrageous, and yet I can’t tell a soul … ”
And yet he now claims there is nothing to tell?

Kubo was really good. Only reason it isn’t better known is because it wasn’t a major studio. If they slapped a Pixar logo on it, it would’ve been huge.
OP said 1800-present. If you’re talking about the 1899 split, then that’s the colonial powers. What am I missing?
