I think as long as you aren’t monetarily supporting them (pirate that shit) or spreading their name and fame (don’t tell your friends and family who the artist is if they ask) then ya sure go ahead and listen to their music and enjoy it.

Yeah I could never willingly live in an apartment for many reasons, but a few of them being:
no common outdoor area for pets, so if your dog needs to pee you have to take them for a walk around the block to pee on some tiny patch of grass beside the street.
As you mentioned no garage/driveway to work on a vehicle or even have any other space intensive hobby/activity like woodworking.
Privacy, I just hate having neighbours and noises at all times of the day.
Gardening for more than a couple pots of tomatoes and herbs on a balcony.
And many more

I literally feel this as more of a feature than a bug.
Can we please keep it?

Our work uses laptops and it’s already a pain in the ass with Microsoft office being subscription based cause they are often in areas with no internet or cell reception then bam, “please login”
Fuck!

Although I wouldn’t be surprised if you sold your grandfathered Tesla that it cancels the lifetime FSD and therefore brings your resale down despite probably paying more upfront

I don’t think it’s necessarily the text books that are the issue but rather the physical act of writing your own notes.
I think it’s that now people type all their notes into a laptop rather than write it down.

Their electrical companies don’t exactly have the best record for maintenance and repairs…

Yes I feel like many people misunderstand AI capabilities
They think it somehow comes up with the best solution, when really it’s more like lightning and takes the path of least resistance. It finds whatever works the fastest, if it even can without making it up and then lying that it works
It by no means creates elegant and efficient solutions to anything
AI is just a tool. You still need to know what you are doing to be able to tell if it’s solution is worth anything and then you still will need to be able to adjust and tweak it
It’s most useful for being able to maybe give you an idea on how to do something by coming up with a method/solution you may not have known about or wouldn’t have considered. Testing your own stuff as well is useful or having it make slight adjustments.

During school I would always type up my notes during class so I could get them down quickly but then during study after I would hand write the notes into my notebooks so that I could take the time to keep them organized and make sure it made sense.

I think it would increase competitiveness as well.
Google will actually have to innovate if they want to have people buy their products rather than just being the default one and only choice.

Plus I prefer having complete ownership of my home. Not relying on neighbours to co-own the building with me or being reliant on a landlord to perform repairs and approve simple things like a window air conditioner. Sounds like hell to me.

I find it impossible to use for anything that involves historical / old information.
It’s all live chat it seems, so if someone asked a question on how to do X within Y 8 months ago and that’s what you are trying to find the answer to as well, it’s practically impossible to find so you have to ask it again and hope someone is around with the answer.
It’s a place that’s only useful for live discussions on recent topics, which is quite limited in use.

Same, I was disappointed though that they never asked for a reason why

There was someone who reported that due to the incompetence of whitehouse staffers, some of the Epstein files had simply been “redacted” in ms word by highlighting the text black, so people were actually able to remove the redactions by turning the pdf back into word and removing the black highlighting to reveal the text.
Who knows if some of the photos might be the same issue.

I’m not denying that cars are dirty either, but it’s also easy that the bottom pic could look like the top pic and vice versa based on when the photos are taken. Timing of the snowfall, if one road gets sanded/salted and not the other, etc.

Fuck.
Now instead of each new generation of TVs being slightly higher in resolution some god damn business tech executive is going to focus on some god damn bullshit to try and change or add which is going be absolutely fucking ridiculous or pointless and annoying like AI television shit or TV gaming or fuck my life. Smart TVs are bad enough but they can’t help themselves they need to change or add shit all the fucking time to “INNOVATE!!!” and show stockholder value.
Resolution was something easy and time consuming but we can’t rely on that keeping them from fucking TV up any more.

I have an app which reduces the quality of the app for apple users to force them to subscribe more than Android users.
The price is the same, but on android there’s no limit to the number of saves you can keep whereas Apple has a limit of 5 and you need to Subscribe at $30/year to unlock more saves.

So its shit like this why RAM costs are up 500% or more?

Especially when the ad is longer than the video you are trying to watch.
Or you watch the entire video than accidentally swipe the edge of your phone and you are sent back, then have to watch it again to view the video once you click it again.
I can see the purpose when done correctly but that would mean maybe a 3-5 year protection to give you a headstart on the competition not 20+ years of monopoly and stagnation.
