I have a ton of great ideas that I do not have the talent to bring to fruition.
I don’t know which is the best.

I try to be better here than the/my tone was on reddit.
I hate what rampant capitalism and conservatism has done to my world.
I hate key players that forge that reality.
But I try not to hate the people. We feel powerless, and that is why so many of us lash out. I can forgive some of that.

I don’t see that as a downside. Be mysterious.

Not exactly misheard but what I came up with and which became canon to my household despite not really sounding alike:
Tape Five’s ‘Taxi to Bombay’ became ‘Text me Your Butthole.’ (And please do not.)
Edit: Just remembered an actual misheard one. I am a bit hard of hearing, and the They Might Be Giants song Subliminal I heard as Submersible. Considering that the lyric is ‘Subliminal… in an unnoticeable way,’ my interpretation was pretty damned funny.

Don’t worry about the difficulty level and just play for the story.
If that isn’t for you, then definitely throw in the towel. I am truly biased though as I have played D&D for a good deal of my life.
This name was made for a MUD back in 1994. The full name is Pronell Mordini, and he was a perrin (otterfolk) merchant king, a background character in the world.
I was tasked with making my own palace and marketplace but the game shut down months later.
I’ve more or less been using the name online ever since then, as it’s almost never taken. Someone did get to pronell@gmail.com first, but who cares, especiially now?
My wife sometimes goes by Mrs. Pronell online. I’ve teased her that it should technically be Mrs. Mordini.
I will check them out!
For the past several years, I’d have to say The Bamboos. I love me some good funk.

I would be very glad to be wrong here!

Using fossil fuels to make fertilizer has fueled human growth.
When capitalism dies, a LOT of people die off. It is inevitable - eventually we have to wean off of oil, and it isn’t just transport but materials and fertilizers.
So we have to plan for a smaller world community as well, and help those in crisis as the world community shrinks.

Yup, another here. Been with my wife for fourteen years, this will be our 11th wedding anniversary.

Hudson Hawk, Bruce Willis’ longtime passion project where he and Danny Aiello play singing cat burglars.
I genuinely love it despite it not being very good at all. Saw it in the theater knowing nothing at all about it.

Given the economy, it may be “If you see someone stealing food, no you didn’t.”

I, too, played as a kid, and then again as a teenager, before coming back to the fold about seven years ago.
My dad ran a campaign for my family when I was six or seven. I remember spilling my kool-aid all over the table when we turned a corner and my dad said “You see… a MINOTAUR!”
As a teenager I played with friends and at a local college, and often ended up being the DM.
Then seven years ago, my aunt and uncle invited me to a game their daughter’s husband was starting.
After about a year I convinced my Dad to join us. It’s worth mentioning that all of us are neurodiverse in some respect, and as such have always been my favorite relatives.
Then COVID hit and I started running a game for my board gaming friends, and started one with my family playgroup as well.
I’ve created a world and plotline, I’ve run published adventures, and I’m even working on a supplement for the Witchlight adventure that I will publish on the official site.
I’m a Community superfan. Still waiting on the movie.
