Black vulture. The way they just glide on air currents looks amazing. Scavenging seems easier than hunting. And they’re social animals, as opposed to turkey vultures (these being the two species in my area). Plus they look really cool.

If i think a post is in the wrong place, I downvote it. For example, I follow a lot of art communities. In artshare I upvote literally every post because I think creativity should be encouraged, and sharing your creative journey should be encouraged. However, I feel like the traditionalart community is for sharing professional art pieces. I’ve already seen your same piece in 4 other communities,et me have one place for polished art.

Home ownership is not ideal for everyone.

Obviously, all humans deserve to have a home. Not all of us want to own a house. I would rather have the flexibility to move around, and much prefer to leave repairs and maintenance in the hands of the person I’m renting from.

I get that it’s not fair for rent money to passively make someone else wealthy, while they get to have the equity of a house. I’m not suggesting we keep that system. Housing (at least a portion of it) should be available as a public good.

Agree on Pink Pony Club, a lot of her songs took me a few listens before I became a fan.

Lords of the Lost, a Goth metal/glam rock band, performed Blood and Glitter at Eurovision 2023. I wasn’t a fan at first, and their style is not one i gravitate to, but the song grew on me. Since then, they’ve put out one good song after another. If you want a song that expresses dislike for other people while still wishing the best for humanity, check out their latest release: I Hate People.

Seeing animals, especially in the wild, especially birds. I like to think of every sighting as good luck.

I suggest putting some thought into it. Because when you die, the people who love you will be distraught and overwhelmed. Having some kind of prepared plan will be a gift to them, and honoring your wishes (even if you don’t feel strongly about them now) will help them with the grieving process.
