10 years ago I gave my ex a shaving kit. It came with a dry shaving foam, one of those that work like soap. After a couple of weeks without using I asked him if it was bad to shave, he said “the guy scamed you, this don’t make foam” I was intrigued got the shaving brush WET IT And used the SOAP like dry foam. Worked fine

His answer “I didn’t know I need water to make foam”

Lemmy is VERY hateful. In some cases more than Reddit because we have less people but more radical. the amount of hate one can get just because it mentioned specific words is insane. There is no debate here, if you mention a couple of specific topics and trigger words you are sent to hell.

It’s always good to join 3dprinting@lemmy.world but the best resource is Youtube. There are a lot of different creators that talk about different parts of the process. From which machine to choose, to calibrating it for the first time.

The “getting into” part of 3d printing is buying the machine the rest of the time is you trouble shooting wtf is going wrong lol so there isn’t one specific place.

The other day a guy posted a question about what AI is people using the most and it was downvoted to hell and piled on on the comments. Just because he asked a question. I get AI hate but people are shit

If you like time travel and “monster of the week” type shows (and you are willing to try someyhing different in another language) I recomend a spanish show called The Ministry of Time (El ministerio del tiempo). I watched with english subs and It was still very good. If you speak spanish better yet!

Really good show and I loved the premise. Idk how the americans didn’t create an american version like they did for the french Les Revenants (Also a great choice, much better than the american I think)
