I had to update my Elgato Stream Deck software and it pointed to their new product - the Stream Deck + Lever.
Admittedly I did do a WTF at first but then remembered what day it was. I didn’t check more, but I have to assume! There’s no way it could be real.
Oh, that and today was the first I heard about the scope of the Artemis II mission, but it turned out that actually was real even though it seemed like an elaborate joke. Cue the conspiracy theories

Depends where you’re coming from.
From Australia, no. Bali is cheaper and bogan.
From France, yes. Bali is expensive and exotic.

Depends on the time and place. Whether standing or sitting and whether I was wiping anyway.
I had not long since started a MSc, we were having our first rounds of IVF and we went to Japan. And we bought our current house.
It was an eventful year.
Within 2 years we would be broke thanks to uni costs, IVF costs and house deposit. Fine now as all of the above helped.

Depends where you’re looking. It’s not as active as Reddit for sure, but it also has far fewer non-humans too which seems to be the majority of Reddit these days - either repost bots or even comment bots so the activity isnt real, it’s a mere simulation. I don’t fear that here. PugJesus is real. 😃

So now we know what to do with the bodies burnable items.

It can be, you just say you only use “messaging app of choice” and email. Email always works. And you can’t use any other app due to company security policies.

Sitting on a bench watching the world go by. Now I have to hold a sign and keep my sleeping bag dry too.
Watching a movie at home on my 120" projector with 5.1 and comfy chairs with my wife and the furkids is a far better experience than I’ve probably ever had at a cinema - partly because I can control the sound level, it’s just too loud at the cinema.
Too many movies are formulaic and boring. Even if fun, they can be boring substantially.
Agreed that Grab is the best option. Or Gojek if that’s there as another option.

9 when first tipsy on champagne at A new year’s party. Generally had a beer with food from 14ish. Would get drunk regularly every weekend from 15. Drunk daily between 17 and 18, clubbing and partying almost daily. Calmed down a bit and restricted that to weekends from 19-20 but spent the whole weekend shit-faced. At 20-21, cut it down to just one day of the weekend. At 22-23 it dropped to only ever every few weeks but still getting pissed.
From 24 onwards it’s been only every few weeks but just getting tipsy e.g. ½ to 1 bottle of wine, with the odd occasion of 1½ bottles. Rarely drink anything other than wine these days as I live in wine country and have access to good stuff but do like a beer or a rum and coke too, especially if I’m out at a gig or club on the very rare occasion that happens. Rounds out to about 12-14 bottles of wine a year. Which isn’t too bad. Certainly a lot healthier than in my late teens-early 20s.

As a South Australian government salaried employee, that’s basically everyone in my Department
I went to the pub with my mate where I’d been drinking every day for the previous year and got a legal pint. Told all the staff that it was my birthday. Then which one and almost got barred!
Proceeded to get shit-faced
What a way to find out, lol.

A new form of government, voting system and dismantling of the current two parties into a range of smaller parties elected via mixed member representation voted in by preferential voting and banning monied interests and lobbying.
Need to eat the rich first.

Personally I prefer to give mine to charities that help women escape domestic violence households and need help setting up their lives again. Many leave with nothing, including their phones which are usually being tracked by their abuser. Have a look around to find one, or a local homeless shelter. Or, if you’re worried it will become ewaste, send it to a recycling centre - many parts can be stripped out and made into new products.
It’s funny. As much as I detest DJT and all the terrible things he’s brought to the world order/markets/general stability, I do have to be thankful that he’s helped spur on digital sovereignty and sparked a revival in independence rather than US hegemony. It’s also a shame, but the US has proved itself too volatile and an unstable partner.
