I found this series useful when getting into DC electronics. He takes topics very slowly and thoroughly. He’s also got a series on oscilloscopes and a more advanced multimeter feature breakdown.
If full time Walmart employees need government assistance programs to afford food and pay their rent, is it not Walmart who is leaning on government assistance?

Not really looked down on, but every time I mention that I have an indoor greenhouse everyone assumes I’m growing pot.

The highlands in Scotland. Beautiful in their entirety.

Pictures don’t do it justice, I’d recommend a guided tour. Also you get to feed highland cows. They’re all pets btw. This is Honey.

I’m not qualified, but something that might aid in your efforts is focusing on the flaws inherent in getting fulfillment from other people and the cycle of misery it can bring when it doesn’t pan out exactly as you intended. See: codependency. Obviously don’t phrase this like you won’t be there for them, but more just that they need to be there for themself too.

Never done this, except cybersex. I didn’t know her husband, but I knew he was her husband and we all played an mmo together. I convinced myself that he knew and didn’t consider it cheating. Then she kept venting to me about what a bad father he was for their kid and I slowly faced the fact that she wouldn’t be trying to convince me he was bad if he knew, so I told her to keep it nonsexual from now on and she quickly moved on to another player I knew. It doesn’t feel good, especially in hindsight. If you’re ever in that position you’ll feel better in the end not kicking the person while they’re down.

Harder for me to raise it than lower it, but I do a version of this every night before bed. “None of these thoughts can’t be picked up tomorrow, everything is made better by getting sleep right now, so no further thoughts allowed.” Can usually drop it to near sleep bpm.

I prefer Samsung UI, but Xiaomi is very tough to beat on performance per dollar. Huawei if you trust em.

It’s just chatgpt with sessions as far as I’m aware. It’s as private as the information you give it within one session.

Codependency is self-destructive, not romantic.
Chronic Anxiety and chronic depression are very similar and tied to similar thought processes and self-fulfilling cycles.
You can’t truly be there for others if you aren’t there for yourself.
Perspective shifting between others and yourself is a powerful tool of understanding and affording yourself the benefits of the doubt that can be hard to muster sometimes.

https://piefed.world/u/The_Picard_Maneuver he’s still active and modding a few communities still.

The_picard_maneuver I feel was a large reason there was even enough meme content to make it start feeling like a reddit replacement for me. I don’t hate power users here since we need more posts to keep the fediverse content active. Maybe if we had 10k+ upvote posts in a single day it’d get old seeing the same faces, but if the content is good it’s elevated. I’d only want something done about it if there were bots who follow-voted to achieve misleading numbers.

I think there’s some humanity in shared sorrows regardless of your power to stop it. Everyone can contribute a little also. I think with enough motivation empathy can lead to discomfort that can inspire massive change in an individual for the better and in some cases massive changes in a society for the better.

Empathy is something to be proud of. We’d just be dogshit conservatives without it.
Same, I struggle with posting before reading on the phone especially. My confidence despite only being 10% as accurate on the phone is exactly the same after finishing typing on the phone.
About twice a comment on my phone and about once every 5 comments on the computer.

This guy is very well known already for car audio builds, but this video in particular was nice to have when I thought I destroyed a brand new Focal 165ES K2 speaker. Never gasped so loud in my life as I saw that screwdriver slip straight through the surround.
