Climate deniers. Way too many bots and real people in this camp. So unsettling and anger inducing.

Oh yeah. That is sort of what I was envisioning. It is not really feature complete, but a step in the right direction. Thanks for that link. At least Lemmy is trying versus Reddit that lets it fester.

I say fuck Reddit and Lemmy too for not providing the tools to audit modderators. Like we need a removed post/comment/account graveyard where anyone can review and inspect what is being removed with the reasons as to why so that we can have assurance mods are not abusing. Like it is such a simple problem to solve , yet no one wants to implement and thus, here we are.

Sure, but we were all talking about AI and the data it will need for decades.

The real crime here is while the EU is trying every angle to error your privacy, that time is not being spent on real issues. You are being sold out by the very people put into positions of power to serve you. If the data supported their goals, I would be there with them, but the data is very clear on the matter and the it indicates we are in for big issues with all these IDs being stored by centralized targets.

Surely AI training was the top bullet point on the buy pitch.

The smart people never enter politics and so rational solutions like yours never see the day of light. Plus, it is more about collecting your data and control than protecting anyone.

Good one. That said, I have reasons to believe they are not even going to be able to deliver that evil at scale. You can tell by the bravado their CEO keeps exhibiting. Classic hold my beer. Seems like an American thing right now to out do the beer holding.

Why?

You raise many good points, but social media also has benefits and is not all just negative. Same with AI and all tech. We are better off overall with tech despite the downsides which we should be doing a better job of mitigating.

The sales of the glasses have been better than their VR headset which has really made them double down on the glasses as they see big potential. That said, I really think that it is a false hope as I suspect the market that is ok wearing Facebook glasses are small, but loyal.

I have a small RTL panel that I put into NIR mode (not red) and place it on my chest, sides and back to cover all areas of my lungs. Super effective with a growing body of evidence for it use.

Well, it would not be with Red Light panels as they do not put our UV light, but you can use the NIR light to increase testosterone but it is not much of a boost.

Red light therapy, specifically Near Infrared Light on my lungs as it works so well that I was able to stop my 45+ years of daily asthma meds. Incredible.

Same in many areas built in the lat 50 years in Canada too have mostly underground wires. At least in the West.

Most of the code was written in the last 2 years as I have expanded the app a lot, added multi player and reworked all the original code. For my simple app, AI has allowed me to grow much faster than before. I am very grateful for the tech even with its may issues.
1990s BBS/modem is not online 1980s Bookstore/Library does not have the book I need.
