But that’s very different. People are uploading music on YouTube to be listened to as music and that directly infringes the copyright of another song on YouTube that is legit. It’s directly taking money from the owners of the song. Games are not (typically) intended to be a replacement for just listening to that song.

There’s a reason they have a -6 total score from me… I don’t just downvote all willy nilly either…

I use AI in my job but for script development. I would never have an AI without explicit guardrails or automated and not prompt driven and watched. It’s gotten creative though by using find … exec rm to remove old files, because I allowlisted find *. But it still only can do stuff in the directory it’s open in.

I thought discord moved to k-id and ditched this system?

They did start randomizing the numbers though, so the first 3 aren’t based off of the area you were born.

Exactly. I look at downvotes on articles as a kind of fact curator. If an article has 50/50, you know it’s gotta be wrong.

Just a warning: Piefed has a lot of shady built in hidden karma. Like you posting “this” or a gif only detracts from your karma. They also block you from downvoting if you downvote more than you upvote. It’s not really free speech at all.

Huh? You just linked a community on lemmy.world. That’s a lemmy instance. The person above you is referring to piefed. You don’t understand the code.

Piefed has all the shit code that bans a bunch of stuff. They also delete your comment if it starts with a gif link. And then put your social score down one. They also block you from downvoting if your votes are negative (more downs than up). There so much dumb shit because there are against actual free speech.
