Nope. Things break on my system when it gets turned on. I just updated the BIOS last week, which somehow resulted in it getting turned back on. That silently broke my graphics card driver and it took me like an hour to figure out what was going on since there was no obvious error message.
I’m in my late 40s now, and I’ve been getting happier as I get older.
I’m speaking more of the reporting. It seems like every headline claims something is being done “quietly” now when it was actually announced loud and clear. Take this price hike, for example. I got an email from Google last week telling me the price went up. That wasn’t “quietly”. “Quietly” would be raising the price completely unannounced and hoping no one notices.
Why is everything being done “quietly” lately?
The model is Canadian, you wouldn’t know about it.
I looked in to one once. They offered me $80k. I sold the house with a legit realtor a few months later for $370k. I consider them to be complete scams.
I went to a craft show on a college campus a few weeks ago. The delivery bots kept getting routed right through the middle of the thing. They were constantly hitting the vendor’s tables and knocking their products off to the ground. One even got tangled in a table cloth and pulled the entire table over. The vendors were not happy.

The people that literally created Linux disagree with you. They all say that Linux is the kernel.

You have it backwards. Linux is the kernel. That’s it. The distribution isn’t Linux. A distro includes the Linux kernel as well as extra user land applications. Anything that uses the Linux kernel is Linux. Android uses the Linux kernel, that makes it Linux. Yes, it’s a restricted and locked down version of Linux, but it’s still Linux.

That tax argument has never really made sense to me. As an avid cyclist, I don’t know anyone that owns a bike but doesn’t also own a car. I’m sure they exist in big cities, but I’ve never met them.

Ahh,I get it now. It’s not about them creating something that sucks, it’s about them creating something that sucks instead of something else we’ve been asking for that would be actually useful. Thanks for filling in the missing piece.
I’m not sure why this is such a big deal. It’s only going to affect the 7 or 8 people in the world that can afford the 2 top of the line graphics cards and the RAM required to run it.
“Charges” don’t get “enforced”. I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.
