I tired making bread with caramelized onions on and in it, and left the onion too “wet” so I was fighting with the dough constantly having openings pop up and onion spill out… I apparently didn’t even use enough onion because after I brought it to my brother’s house and cut it open I really couldn’t find much onion in there. Still tasted decent though.

I was hiking in Pennsylvania off the established trail and following a “bushwhacking” guides trail with a friend. We stopped to set up camp for the night as it was going to be dark soon and when we were heating up food I noticed a pair of eyes off in the near distance around some bushes. I kept an eye out while we ate and didn’t notice it come closer but we started hearing more noises around us so we decided to grab our hatchets and just go lay down in our hammocks for the night hoping to keep out of sight.

Whatever it was came into our camp and was snooping around, I think there were a bunch of them because it sounded like more than one set of “footsteps.” We heard a bunch of howling in the distance that night but I’m not sure if it was related to what was in our camp. I’ve never been more afraid in my life except maybe for the much less interesting time when I had a panic attack so severe I thought I was dying and actually passed out for a few seconds lol I’ve had plenty of severe panic attacks but that one was miles worse.

My highschool served a metric fuckton of kids, 2,000 kids, 9th-12th grade yet at one point couldn’t afford paper. A couple of my teachers didn’t even fully understand the subject they were teaching, my math teacher was constantly being corrected by the students who actually knew what they were doing. My graduating class was almost 800 kids, ~400 actually graduated.

Not so much related to the education, but a general rule of thumb was to carry popcorn with you because there was always a fight going on and occasionally students would throw their desks at a teacher.

Fun fact: the current head of the EPA graduated from that school. Nothing good comes out of that school.

my interest has only survived because I’m able to AFK farm in the background while doing things on a second monitor.

Thats pretty much where I’m at as well lol I just have a full defense and survival build for afk farming the fire dragon and for the light/dark dragon I can’t afk, but I have the absurd invincible Lancelot build where you just spam triangle/Y to be invincible forever and let the AI do the heavy lifting lol

The story quest before this most recent one hurt, like I’m still sad weeks later. That was definitely one of the 4 times I cried playing the story lol

Wuthering Waves.

It’s a gacha game so I went into it not expecting much, I was just looking for an action combat game with a party of characters and as it was “free” I figured why not give it a shot.

I’m 39 and have been playing games my entire life (probably wayyy too much) and yet this gacha game somehow is literally my favorite game I’ve ever played… I cried like 4 times during the story and side stories, everything (except the gacha) is amazing. The art, the music, the gameplay, I love it all. I was never expecting to love a gacha game so much lol

I’m stubborn so I’m still trying to enjoy it, but granblue fantasy relink just kills me… I enjoyed most of the game, but the endgame has pretty much everything I hate in action combat games: instakill dps check bullshit, enemies spamming crazy nonsense moves cluttering the screen, dodge timing that requires you to be a literal machine to get it right making elden ring look like a game for babies, and an ungodly amount of grinding the most aggravating bosses for materials…

I’m at an age now where I want to enjoy a game, not be enraged until I finally beat it.
