Its a catch 22, I had a car for a year and it was the most “free” I felt to do things like grocery shopping and hanging out with friends at other people’s houses.

Theres like 80% of the population that still actively shop at Target and Amazon Prime. People buy from Whole Foods instead of the small “mom and pop” European market on the corner.

At that point sell your car? You’re paying for parking, insurance, registration, and maintenance. Then you just take a taxi to avoid driving your car, so more $$ being wasted.

I walked home one time instead of paying for an uber.
