I was recently in New Zealand, this is a photo that shows the blue pools in the mount aspiring national Park. The water is the bluest/clearest I’ve ever seen.

It’s great. I’m pretty sure you can sign in so you get your algorithm and subscriptions. But it’s an incredible app. Infinitely better than the normal YouTube app.
My smart tube app wasn’t working tonight so watched YouTube on the normal app. I can’t believe people live like this, it’s actually unwatchable.
So interesting to me that it’s the lower end phones that have the features I want
I think they mean lithium ion batteries are far worse for the environment compared to a headphone cable you could easily replace

If they weren’t guzzling the worlds water supply, and using the electricity of a small nation, and didn’t steal small creators works, and weren’t hijacking the worlds supply of RAM, and wasn’t causing a bubble that will wreak havoc on the global economy, and it wasn’t causing people to go into psychosis by encouraging delusional thoughts, than i probably wouldn’t be against it.
Other than those issues it seems fine, but until those are addressed, I’m pretty anti-ai

Totally agree. Perfect is the enemy of good. If people would just drop meta, and Microsoft. That would go a long way and would be pretty easily achievable for most people.
Alphabet would be huge but because most phones run android (including my own), that’s a big ask, too big without a good viable alternative ATM

Most of us drive cars to get around. This community is more a resentment of the fact we HAVE to rely on cars (depending on where you live).
In my neck of the woods public transport is a joke, and the urban sprawl means living in the city is only for the wealthy so unfortunately, I do have to rely on a car, but I hate that and I’d like to see that changed. That’s why I’m part of this community.

I came to the same conclusion., I need a “Spotify connect” type feature, and when I looked, tidal had just axed their equivalent.
Until a competitor allows me to play music on a headless Linux box and control it with my phone, I’m stuck with Spotify
I wanted to be a race car driver. Literally had no other ambitions, that’s all I wanted, and I grew up being told I could be anything I wanted to be. Well we grew up homeless and I didn’t realise it was something only wealthy families could afford to support.
Turns out I couldn’t be anything I wanted to be.
I work in I.T. now. It’s fine, pays the bils. I built myself a pretty decent sim racing rig so although it’s not the same thing, it somewhat scratches the itch.
So glad the idiotic decisions Microsoft makes doesn’t effect my computer. And I’m excited for the rest of the population to make the shift to Linux, at least on their personal computers.

New Zealand is incredibly beautiful. I think my favourite place was on top of Fox glacier, but search up Marakopa falls, Wilson’s creek chasm, Milford sound, and the church of the good Shepard to see more incredible spots
