Biden could have made the documents public, but he didn’t.

100%. Why I said “if there is one”. This scandal clearly crosses party lines and there are many many high-profile and wealthy people involved. Even if they didn’t actually commit any crimes, they absolutely don’t want any evidence released that even mentions them in the same breath as a pedophile ring.

I cannot for the life of me understand how US citizens can put up with this

Many of us are not. You may find a lot of new blue seats in congress in the upcoming midterm elections. But they’re clearly going to do everything they can to undermine a free and fair election as well. That’s what all these military invasions are about. And the dismantling of the election oversight committee.

Yes, even to me, who only follows US politics from a distance, that much is clear. What is not clear to me, however, is why US citizens are unable to rise up against this blatant injustice. The situation is completely obvious: there is not much time left before an institutional system of oppression is installed. And yet, nothing worth mentioning is happening. If you want to convince me that it is impossible to organize a general strike, I can only respond that it is not impossible, but it will become increasingly difficult and costly as time goes on. As I said, Iran is the best example.

The midterms won’t change anything, because the US regime doesn’t abide by laws. It really couldn’t be more obvious.

I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but “business as usual” won’t save the US. You’ve been living in a plutocracy for decades now, and if you don’t finally fight back, you’ll end up living in a dictatorship -and I’m afraid that the majority of US citizens don’t have the slightest idea what that means.

I can only recommend: Let go of your strange national pride - there is really nothing to be proud of.

My friend, please consider that you are an outsider and don’t know what’s going on. We have already had many large protests, nationwide, in the millions. Resorting to violence will give them exactly what they want.

Yes, millions took to the streets on a few individual days. There was no general strike, and it doesn’t look like there ever will be.

Please don’t think that I’m not informed. I’m just being realistic. I realize that you don’t want to hear this, but the resistance that the US population seems willing to put up is simply not enough to counter the organized crime that governs the US.

Once again: look at what’s happening in Iran and reconsider your statement.

Edit: What makes you think I’m talking about violence? I don’t and I don’t get what makes you think so.
