If you wanted to talk about UK insurance stuff you could have just said something like. “Oddly enough that wouldn’t work in the UK because XYZ”. Which, genuinely, is interesting. However, I think the initial comment likely applies to many places outside the US. So, you chose a shitty way to start your comment.
