You can’t send a geriatric to fix a problem caused by geriatric politicians.
The solution is simple, they just don’t like it. They just don’t want to hear it.
Everyone over a certain age — and we might reasonably disagree as to what that age is — must be removed from politics.
Wrong-criteria.
As the elderly Richard Feynman proved, truth can be saved by geriatrics.
It isn’t age which makes people unfit-for-authority: it is DarkTriad/DarkTetrad { narcissism, machiavellianism, sociopathy-psychopathy, sadism }, & if you WON’T filter-out to prevent psychopaths like Putin & Netanyahu having power, but you pretend that age is what the only filter ought be, then you aren’t competent to decide who’s got the right to have power.
Sorry to be blunt, but humankind’s working-on earning a whole-species-wide DarwinAward, right now, & after the tippingpoint is crossed, it’ll be all-hands contributing to that work.

& all it’d take is making systems-questions be settled as systems-questions, preventing DarkTriad/DarkTetrad types from having authority-over-others, & getting issues solved outside of political-wrestling’s “dominion”.
