Because it has more in common with diy and open source culture then it does with selling a half million dollar bomb in a suit and having a superiority complex about it.

Germans are arrogant and have superiority complex. I think, that’s probably one of the reasons why Nazis got in power. They in general think of themselves as better and more correct than everyone else.

It is as good generalisation as all Germans like beer. Obviously not everyone does, but it is good enough of generalisation.

Well except they don’t. Beer consumption declined so much that nearly all breweries started Softdrink lines because the sales dwindle so much.

          https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/22/world/europe/germany-alcohol-consumption-breweries.html

Basically l Only 40% of the population is even liking beer. And a lot of this is demographics too, because Germans under 30 only drink a tenth of the previous generations alcohol consumption. Beer is dying in germany

My explanation still stands. Lets say only 40% display superiority complex. That’s still alot. The generalisation still stands.

No if less than half of ppl (I would even say less than 90% don’t have an attribute than saying all of them have is not a generalisations but a lie.
