The war started 2y before the election, Donnie was elected and the war is still going. None of the arguments track with reality. If one looks at the damage it has caused to the EU economy, the stoppage of the EU from decoupling from the US and the rise of LNG prices to make the unsellable shale gas into an absolute necessity, it becomes increasingly clear. It’s quite simple, first create the carrot, the IRA, to convince EU industry to move stateside, then create the stick, to make energy prices so high in the EU that companies have no other choice. During the carrot and stick dynamics, the EU energy transition is boycotted and we’re now completely dependent on US gas that was previously unsellable. All of this conducted with the absolute collaboration of Poland, Denmark and the Baltics, that also did their part to try and create a barrier between China and the EU to further delay our energy transition. (Conveniently Poland has the largest LNG shipping dock in the North sea) This war was a well crafted plan to fuck us over by our trashy descendents overseas. Putin was nothing but a predictable imperialist idiot in all of this. One has to look into orgs. like the heritage foundation and the likes to understand how the world got here!
