However I felt it lost its uniqueness within a few months of mass migration and started turning a bit like reddit again so I deleted my old account. However Reddit has only gotten much much worse since, and Lemmy has stayed about the same. So here again.
Yes, this is a great take. Any sort of factual or neutral commentary just has the extremists warping your words to make you tacit ‘evil person’ of whatever flavor their ideology/obsession claims is most evil.
a lot of users here have zero objectivity and are actively hostile to the notion there are other points of view than their own. and very eager to engage in hostility and violence towards anyone who doesn’t strictly share their POV.
