It took the deaths of two white people for the country to mobilize even though there were over 20 deaths related to ICE in 2025 alone.

Odd that the many deaths in ICE facilities, camps, didn’t trigger this earlier but the very public ones did.
And of the public ones, only the white people.
While I’m glad that people are finally taking action it does expose how American society still works. It took the deaths of two white people for the country to mobilize even though there were over 20 deaths related to ICE in 2025 alone.
