I hate the huge SUVs you see all over the roads, I have a 2021 Seat Leon FR PHEV hatchback, and around here the Kia EV9 is really popular.
While not as large as the stupid Ford F-150s, the EV9 is fucking huge.

It should be illegal to have a car with the headlight at the eye level of a driver of a standard WV Golf type car.

I am going to be semi pedantic, no binary updates but config updates and compabillity layers are ok.
I still play Unreal Tournament 2004, I have three copies, one on CD, one on Steam and one on GOG, it is an awesome game, that even has an official native Linux version with an installer on the CD.
It is fantastically fun, well balanced and just amazing.
You have to edit the config files to support modern resolutions, and make it connect to the community master server, but that is a one time change and then you can just start blasting.

I am an IT guy, and AI has just about killed my enthusiasm for tech, I made a post about it a month or two ago, and it is still valid.
Swede here, I love driving, 100% love it, I don’t drive in the city unless I need to (last time I had to was three time last summer), we have excellent public transport, there very limited need to drive in the city.
My favorite roads to drive are suburban and rural roads, they are fun and interesting .

Yeah, Apple has built an image of hardware stability, if you want an iPhone, you will be able to get one at MSRP.
That shifts the perspective of Apple from just another company, at the whim of the market, to an institution standing against the market.

I have a big choice here.
A. Bite the bullet and buy two more 8TB HDDs and complete my NAS as planned.
B. Wait and hope for lower prices.
C. Bite another bullet and run the NAS as a 24TB ZRAID1 instead of a 32TB ZRAID2.

I joined about two years ago, and to get the most content I have kept browsing All, however that is annoying when some new guy decide to set up a new NSFW community outside of the NSFW branded instances and I have to block them individually.
When lemmynsfw existed most people went there to post, but some either didn’t like the instance or didn’t know about it and posted on generic instances.
I don’t want to turn on NSFW filtering in general, as it is used in memes and jokes, but I don’t want porn on my main account, that is what my alt is used for.
You can block individual instances, I have a long list of instances that I have blocked.

The first signs was when I was sitting in a taxi to the airport for a work trip abroad to London.
I remember being annoyed at having a cold for the duration of the trip.
If it had just been a cold, it would have been fine.
It got so bad that at the end of me week there, I couldn’t speak.
As I got sicker, I also got a scare that I might have flooded the hotel, which made me worry that I might loose my job.
Anyway, I just got sicker and sicker, I went to the doctors when I got back, and was diagnosed with one sides pneumonia, with an unknown cause.
I got generic penicillin, which I couldn’t swallow properly, so I had to dissolve the pill in water and slowly sip it, took an hour or so to get one pill in me.
It got worse to the point I went to the Emergency room in the hospital, and was admitted to the infection clinic, I had to stay for two days.
I got an IV with penicillin and finally started getting better.
My mom got sick at the same time with similar symptoms…
I never conclusively found out what I got, but my mom was diagnosed with Mycoplasma, so I probably got it myself.
I was away from work for a month and a half, and missed almost all of the summer of 2019…
It was terrible.
For anyone curious, I would suggest against trying mycoplasma, it is not a brilliant experience.
You should reach out to the manufacturer and ask.
Send an email explaining the situation to their marketing department, that is usually a good way to establish contact, and just say something like.
"Hi, this is a quite weird question, and I was wondering if you could pass it along to the relevant team.
