We just moved into a townhouse and bought a new, bigger tv, so at least for now the old tv is in the bedroom.

I’m normally against TVs on the bedroom but I’m not minding this so far - but if my fiance depression-nests in the bedroom I’ll sell the tv.

Right? Now just let me push 1440p x2 and play games on high/ultra from the size of half a shoebox please.

I feel like I’m part of the minority when I say I’m highly excited for things like M5, APUs, smaller power efficient machines that barely draw power while doing boring work tasks yet can handle proper gaming loads (waiting for the last part still).

As soon as one of these checks all my boxes I’m selling my massive PC for it.

100% of my job is word processors, medium sized spreadsheets, and cloud software. This laptop is perfect for me and, I’d argue, 90% of my colleagues, as a work computer.

I have zero issue with soldered on ram for a device used for the above purpose.

My home PC though, not an ideal fit.

Israel was justified in their (initial) retaliation for October 7.

Gone so far in the other direction that I now firmly believe Israel should be wiped off the fucking map. Decades of propaganda convinced me they weren’t violent colonizers.
