I’m glad its helpful ☺️☺️
The app hasnt been perfefctly polished in my experience but its generally worked more than well enough for my use case
Hope you have a lovely day friend ☺️

Flare on f-droid might also be worth trying out depending on what you’re looking for :) not sure if it’d be for you but thought I’d put it on your radar
Hello! ☺️
Welcome, we’re glad you’re here! ❤️

To add to people’s answer of it not having much care- cleaning is generally good for care/longevity as grit and dirt will cause abrasion if it has flex or when the tool goes in and out, anf it comes in and out of your pocket :)

You are very welcome, please take good care of yourself :)

I don’t have advice on whether to take it or not, I just wanted to say I’m sending love and support, this is such a raw thing to be navigating 🫂
I will say, if theres any way you can talk about this with someone IRL please consider doing so and trying to create a real life support system for yourself. Whether that’s friend, a therapist, family, someone nonjudgemental who you can discuss where you’re at could be really helpful, especially when you’re noticing an increase in risky behavior.
There is value in being able to talk things through, try to process where you find yourself and what needs the risky behavior might be filling, and why its something you do or dont want to continue. That kind of discussion and immediate support is hard to have via text posts over the internet
Sending love your way, please take care of yourself my friend

Someone who’s used Pinterest a ton for art/design reference this is super helpful, thank you!
Are there any of these many alternatives you like more? Or that you feel like serve specific use cases?

I don’t expect most people still playing Pokémon go are actually kids 😅 I could be wrong, but as someone playing it until pretty recenly and who had friends who still played it at various points I don’t think its really popular with kids anymore

The peertube app is really early on in development and has mostly just been frustration in my experience :/
This was super helpful to me! I’m a very casual language learner and dont have much access to in-person stuff in general. I just recently broke my Japanese streak, and I’m deciding if I wanna keep with Japanese or learn Spanish given current events here in the US
No idea if I’ll find a way to implement what you’ve explained but its my only exposure to the idea of cross talk or this perspective on language learning
Thanks for taking the time to type all this out!

Theyre called communities, which I often shorten to “comm” or “comms”. Mbin calls them magazines. Not sure if piefed has its own name for things
!newcommunities@lemmy.world !communitypromo@lemmy.ca
These two comms, and searching manually for keywords related to stuff I’m interested in. In the thunder and Jerboa apps that pulls up relevant communities

Thank you! I really appreciate the help ☺️
Hope you have a lovely day blaze!

Thanks! Previously I had looked for a way to import settings and was unable to find it so that held me up, but I got all my comms imported so I’m gonna give piefed.zip a try as my new instance ☺️
Username is slightly different now, it was probably time for it to change
While I understand the potential value of that, it is worth also acknowledging that ai will never understand the human, social, contextual meaning of things its providing alt text for, and theres a fair argument to be made that folks with disabilities deserve those things
Id welcome perspectives from folks with relevant disabilities who use or depend on alt text :)
