That is simply part of humankind’s moral “mitosis” process.

It’s natural.

It should always happen to a world when that world’s people have simultaneously saturated the ecologies with their people AND have developed technology which nature can’t manage.

Humankind’s “mitosis” produces 2 distinct populations which are mutually-exclusive.

& then they deathmatch for owning of the world.

That’s the rest of this century, obviously.

The “patient”, ie the world, is right on the knife-edge of having the ability to survive the sickness/cancer/infection/injury.
