Seriously. Don’t.
i never realized how terrible heavy traffic was for my mental health until i moved to a tiny town with no traffic. still feel that old stress/rage any time i approach a city and start seeing more brake lights than road
We should ban cars to prevent that rage
The thing that surprised me most was that there’s no realistic train option between Dublin’s city center and the airport, which, for an European capital feels odd.
We’re surprised too, the various governments have been talking about it for decades.
That comes out to about 22 minutes per trip (or 44 minutes a day), assuming we’re talking about 5 days a week, not 7 days a week; that’s pretty wild to think about for only a 10km trip.
European… esmirna… ankara… Nicosia… make greece great again
Don’t visit Dublin by car I guess. Isn’t there public transport there?
Well it does not specifically say „stuck in traffic while sitting in a car“ . In Dublin you can be stuck in traffic in a bus…
I’m confused. Did they only compare these 20 “European” cities? Or are those the 20 “European” cities with most traffic?
Neat to see laid out but not super useful in isolation. For example, if you have a 10 minute transfer on rail you’re already up to 5 days per year. Would like to see something more comparable across all transportation modes in these cities.
Edinbruuuuuugh …
